His response was 'I've never been asked that before.' A couple of issues involve the tedious process of getting the required license permitThis is reportedly a new development; the owner however did not encourage thisThe install was done without it, due to the place being new and a schedule for moving in attempt at compliance with installTwo attempts made to get that, both unsuccessfulAnother issue arose recently regarding a service trip by a technicianOne of the units had reduced cooling even though the filters have been kept cleanThis system is only a few months beyond a year and the warranty reportedly good for only a yearThe tech arrived and immediately diagnosed the problem, but said he was not able to do the job at that timeSeems these things have a spinning roller that must also be kept clean, this is not easily done or inexpensiveThe company sent out a service call billing for $plus dollars neverthelessI frankly had a problem with that based on the circumstance, even considering this a borderline unethical business practiceThe company apparently doesn't like to do this kind of work and never offered a quote on getting this work done, or applying the 'discovery' charge to the actual job of cleaning the unitFor this reason, I'd be wary hiring these guys
