Review: This dentist office collects a down payment when you have insurance,the insurance company pays the claim and they do not return the over charged down payment.They keep it unless you call and site them on it.Very dishonest and deceiving,most of the clients are Spanish and cannot read the statements in English,so they get away with it.Desired Settlement: I want the check for $438.80 of over charges and for them to stop ripping off the community.

The patient's check is going out today.We just spoke to her last week and our bookeeper is only in on Saturdays. We asked her for payment up front because based on the information we have from her insurance company they were not going to pay for the procedure.We received payment on 9/4.I spoke to the patient's husband on 9/9 and told him a check would be going out in a week.Her claim about most of our patient's being Spanish is not true.Half of our staff is fluent in Spanish.Every time this patient has treatment and then goes to the administrative area to discuss finances she has a translator.The majority of the time it's the dental assistant who just treated the patient.

I am rejecting this response because:I finely received the check today 9/19/13 dated 9/7/13,several weeks after first discovering the discrepincie and speaking to the office.I have never spoken to [redacted] although she states I did.I spoke to first [redacted],and then [redacted],whom were very helpful,then last Friday after 4 to a very unhelpful person(didn't get her name)who told me "sorry" nothing I can do.That prompeded this conversation.I am satisified the money was returned after many phone calls.The part that bothers me the most is your organization was not forthcoming about reinbersmint or credit.I think this is a common practice.I am not accuseing you of targeting a certin community,Spanish or other.Your office staff is normaly very frieindly and helpful.Your accounting is to blame(not [redacted],she was very helpful). Please review your records and make sure their are not more "oversites" between insurance company payouts and down payments from clients.With that I will be satisfied and withdraw my complaint.
