Thank you for your feedback. Following review by our Revenue Cycle Operations team it was determined that the cost provided to the patient/ parent was an estimate based on initial procedure information. After thorough review, it was determined that the estimate did include charges related to...

anesthesia based on the time allotted (39 minutes) and was for 6 injections which is what was quoted. At the conclusion, 9 injections were performed which included the additional injections and extended anesthesia time (1.5 hours). The initial estimate was correct; however, the cost was higher based on the actual care provided. Should the patient's mother which to discuss further, she may contact the Department of Patient Services at 409-772-4772.
