Extremely disappointed. I entered into a contract for them to install basic chair rails into three of my childrens rooms. The installation was incredibly sloppy, it was not done correctly, he did not clean up after himself and left the areas a complete mess. I contacted the owner Kurt with my concerns and showed him pictures. Kurt agreed that it was poorly done and explained that his worker was having personal problems. I agreed to let his worker come back to fix the install. The worker showed up late. When he was done, with one foot out the door asked if the job was done ok. He was clearly in a rush so I told him I would go upstairs, look and let him know. When I got upstairs I was shocked to see that he did not clean up and he did an even worse job then he did out the gate. It was sloppy and the chair rails looked terrible. I could have done a better job myself. We sent photos to the owner who agreed it was a poor job. He explained that his worker left in a rush to get a counseling appointment for his child. No excuse. I asked the owner to inspect the work but he said he was too busy to come to my home because he has a business to run and it would take him three hours roundtrip to get to my home and back. I finally insisted that he come to my home on a weekend. When he showed up the employee arrived with his infant child. I had to babysit this child so that the employee could focus on my needs rather than his child. On the THIRD attempt we finally were able to get the job corrected. To my surprise I then received a bill from the owner, charging me just under three times the original amount. At no time did I expand the work to be done . Rather, I simply had him redo the work I contracted for so that it would be done properly. He demanded payment and continued to invoice me. I reminded him that he was invited back to fix his employees mistake not to do new work. I also reminded him that at no time did he tell me I would be charged to have their mistakes corrected. I asked him to show me the quote and approval for these fixes. Of course he wouldn't have that..... He then accused me of doing what I could to get out of paying him because I am an attorney. Do not use this company. He has no interest in customer satisfaction. He has an undedicated employee ( when the initial job was completed, this employee actually gave me his private cell phone number and told me to call him directly next time I need a job done because he lives close and is starting his own business.) His only concern is profit. He is thief who will do the work not just poorly, but wrong and then charge you AGAIN to fix it - had I not been an attorney he would have continued to haunt me until I finally paid three times the amount to fix the job I previously paid him to do.
