month lease was set to expire in December 2014 so she needed to submit her request in writing. She agreed to come, but never came. In fact, she made that same commitment several times thereafter and she never made either appointment. Because of the disturbing reports from the remaining resident regarding damages to the unit with her permission the Assistant Manager, [redacted] and the Maintenance Superintendant inspected the unit. [redacted] and her co-applicant were both advised of the repairs needed. [redacted] acknowledged the damages and started to say which ones she'd been responsible for, and which ones were someone elses. I, [redacted], Property Manager told her that we don't assign charges to specific residents, but to the household instead. [redacted] agreed to come and submit the notice to vacate, and make arrangement to begin payments toward damages. After I was unable to get her in the office I agreed to allow her to submit her request to vacate via fax with a copy of her identification to match against the file as I'd never met her before. She did that, but failed to ever pay towards the damages. The cost for unpaid rent is $450.00 and the damages are $910.00. When [redacted] initially called back to inquire about the collection she spoke to the Assistant Manager who provided her with the contact information for FCO. She called again to speak directly to me, Patrice. I reminded her of our conversations in November regarding the charges been collective. Days after the co-applicant failed to pay the rent and moved out as well [redacted] came into the office and said she could see her belongings throught the window and wanted them. I agreed to allow her to collect her items provided she took all of them. [redacted] agreed. Within an hour of maintenance allowing her inside the unit she came back and carelessly disgarded all of the unwanted items near the door of the unit they'd vacated.
