Halso Auto Sales Reviews (1)

Bought a vehicle from this dealer. He knew of problems with the vehicle before I bought it, and failed to inform me of these issues. still sold me it.February 2016. 2005 [redacted]. Engine problems that were never taken care of before selling the vehicle, the business owner knew of these problems & did not inform me of them, took to an auto mechanic to fix the problems. They (the mechanic) that the business owner knew of the problems before selling it to me & failed to fix them and/or inform me of these problems. I have spent over $3000 on repairs which the owner should be held responsible & accountable for these repairs. The problem has not once, not twice, but 4 different times been in the shop to be fixed & still can't be fixed. The owner sold me a lemon! Please do not buy from this business. It's scam, do not waste your money!Desired SettlementI want the owner to repay me the $3000 in repairs, the $2000 I put down on the vehicle, plus contact the loan company & pay what I have left owing on my car loan. He sold me a lemon vehicle & should be held accountable for his unlawful actions. Not only to me but several other people that have bought from him. Business Response This customer purchased a 2005[redacted] on January 30, 2015, a few weeks later she informed me that her vehicle was "missing" and had a "check engine" light on , I scheduled her an appointment with a mechanic, she took the vehicle to the garage and the mechanic told me that the " check engine" light was not on and he drove the vehicle and said he could not find the " missing" that she was talking about and that " He could not fix what he could not find", I instructed him to send her to the dealership, I then drove the car myself and could not find the issue she was talking about, and the " check engine " light was not on then either, I myself and the mechanic told her if her " check engine" light came back on to take the car back to the garage and he could then scan it for codes to see what was wrong ( you cannot scan for codes without a check engine light on )That was the last time I have seen or spoken to this customer, she never came back nor called. We are very sorry for any issues she has had since then however this is the first we have heard out of her since that day. We try very hard to operate an honest business and the allegations that have been made against us by this unknown mechanic that she speaks of is out right not true, we feel we are entitled to know and see her documentation and the names of those whom she says are her witnesses such as the mechanic who told her I knowingly sold her a vehicle with a bad engine and the reports from the people who claim we have done the same to them.Consumer Response Will send in documentation of the 2 mechanics that has worked on my vehicle to fix the 6 different things that were messed up on my vehicle. As well as pictures of the timing belt pulley that was in completely 2 different pieces that no mechanic could over look. It was very obvious & not something you could not miss. I will send in documentation for these above problems. Thank you, [redacted]!Final Business Response The vehicle Bill of sale has January 30, 2016 as the day the paperwork was printed, [redacted] signed her paperwork on February 1, 2016 just to clarify the date.We contacted the original mechanic concerning [redacted] having returned with her vehicle and he stated she never returned, she never came back to him with the vehicle,he double checked his records to make sure and he adamantly stood by his statement that she never returned and from that day we did not hear from her again until now, as we have already stated we did not knowingly sell her a vehicle with known mechanical issues, her accusations are based upon the asumption and opinion of a mechanic who has never known us nor met us and merely his opinion about what we probably knew or did, these are not facts, she repeatedly says " more than likely " the dealer knew of such issues before selling her the vehicle, these are assumptions not facts,as far as inspection is concerned we did have the car inspected prior to her purchase because it is standard business practice ,you cannot register a car without an inspection being done, we have documentation to prove so , we also have the original [redacted] for this vehicle, that is filed with her paperwork that was shown to her that shows that the vehicle had been in an accident in 2008 so we did disclose that information to her as well.We are once again sorry for any problems she has had, we truly wished she had come back to us back then but we still stand by the fact that we did not deliberately deceive nor sell her a vehicle knowingly with mechanical issues that were known beforehand.
