Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/05) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @aol.com June 5, Revdex.com RE: Case Number: XXXXXXXX Merchant H & M Limousine Service Please be advised that the Complainant, referenced above, was fully aware that the email confirmation that was sent to them by the reservation agent, ***, was an errorThey had originally placed the reservation with additional passengers and an additional stop with a different reservation agent and were originally quoted in excess of $for this ride from Lake in the Hills, IL to Midway Airport in Chicago at 4:in the morningThey called a couple of times making changes to the reservation until they finally got a reservation agent who did unfortunately for us misquote them, and sent an email confirmation to them of the misquoted fareAdditionally they were aware that the fares for services rendered before 5:00AM were charged times the regular faresThey also had placed a return reservation which was for service from Midway Airport back to Lake in the Hills, IL, at 5:30PM on May 16th which they canceled, because they thought we deceptively overcharged themInterestingly they was also sent that email confirmation which was priced correctly showing a total due of $before tip, at the regular fare So as you see, the driver actually charged the Complainant the correct fare, when dropping them off at Midway that morning, and the cardholder, even though he was fully aware that the email confirmation for $could not be an accurate price because they also received a confirmation email for the return ride at regular fare time which was higherDue to a misquote by our reservation agent, they has chosen to stiff our company and our driver However, in an effort of reconciliation, and to recognize that we are partially at fault for misquoting the fare we have chosen not to dispute the Chargeback in the amount of $which has already been removed from our account, and for which the Customer has already received his $back from his credit card issuing bankWe do however, wish to advise the Complainant never to call us again

Please be advised that the...

Complainant, referenced above, was fully aware that the email confirmation that was sent to them by the reservation agent, [redacted], was an error. They had originally placed the reservation with additional passengers and an additional stop with a different reservation agent and were originally quoted in excess of $240.00 for this ride from Lake in the Hills, IL to Midway Airport in Chicago at 4:30 in the morning. They called a couple of times making changes to the reservation until they finally got a reservation agent who did unfortunately for us misquote them, and sent an email confirmation to them of the misquoted fare. Additionally they were aware that the fares for services rendered before 5:00AM were charged 1.5 times the regular fares. They also had placed a return reservation which was for service from Midway Airport back to Lake in the Hills, IL, at 5:30PM on May 16th which they canceled, because they thought we deceptively overcharged them. Interestingly they was also sent that email confirmation which was priced correctly showing a total due of $140.00 before tip, at the regular fare.
So as you see, the driver actually charged the Complainant the correct fare, when dropping them off at Midway that morning, and the cardholder, even though he was fully aware that the email confirmation for $113.00 could not be an accurate price because they also received a confirmation email for the return ride at regular fare time which was higher. Due to a misquote by our reservation agent, they has chosen to stiff our company and our driver.
However, in an effort of reconciliation, and to recognize that we are partially at fault for misquoting the fare we have chosen not to dispute the Chargeback in the amount of $87.00 which has already been removed from our account, and for which the Customer has already received his $87.00 back from his credit card issuing bank. We do however, wish to advise the Complainant never to call us again.
