I have reviewed the inspection report and the complaint by the sellers of the property that I inspected.

I operated both systems for at least 20 minutes each and measured a 15 degree split. I have been inspecting for 10 years and know how to measure. I cannot explain why the AC...

contractor obtained different measurements. Although different measurements are not uncommon, they typically would not vary by 4 degrees.

Additionally, there were two other issues to be reviewed: Water in the safety pan and a disconnect that I could not remove. We recommended that both of these issues be reviewed by the AC contractor.

The sellers were at the property, very nice folks, and followed me around some. The husband followed me into the attic and observed the water in the safety pan.

Please provide the copies of the invoices, I'm happy to talk to the HVAC contractor to complete my review of the complaint.

Review: I am currently selling my house and this company was hired by the seller to complete a home inspection. There were several inaccuracies listed on the report, including one which was requested by the seller to be repaired. The inspector stated that our AC units split levels were operating under the normal range of 18-26. Upon inspection by a licensed contractor, they were found to be operating within normal ranges (19 upstairs and 18 downstairs). We paid $79.00 because the inspector stated something was wrong with our units, only to find out that he did not measure accurately.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that we are paid $79.00 to cover an unnecessary inspection by a licensed contractor. We will be happy to provide the receipt which describes what the AC company discovered.
