I bought a used car from automax and I asked them about key things about the car like the ball joints, dash display and lights. They said that the ball joint is a small issue that could be fixed for $50 and decided to give me a discount of the amount, instead it was a lie and that both tires and not one had problems with the joint, one ball joint was cracked and the other was not even held to the wheel. Just that makes the vehicle highly dangerous to drive. They also said that the dash display was only missing an illuminating light bulb, but little did I know that it was the whole radio unit that was defective and not just a mere bulb, and another lie. As for the Tail light and the main fan, both fuses at the engine were intentionally removed. When the fuses are put in the fan and lights do not go off, wether the car is switched off and locked or not, it continues to ran, that was totally intended to hide it from the consumer (me), and this issue together with the radio issue culminate what is suggested as may be a major electrical issue which the mechanics at [redacted] concluded that the car is not only unsafe to drive in but it is in a state where it could cause fire.
I believe even through their ‘F’ rating on Revdex.com this dealer need to be taken action on, and compensate to repair the vehicles problems or refund the purchase price of the vehicle.
