Horrible experience. Owner is very manipulative and deceitful... What you are shown and told is not what you get. It's about money and control, not recovery. House was infested with roaches, spiders and rats. House very dirty. Dogs allowed, so couches smelled like urine. Appliances kept breaking. Not safe, doors were always unlocked, even at night. No security system or code lock to get in the house. A client got flea bites from the mattress. No action by owner was taken. Bullying and belittling tactics used. Strongly not recommended.

Review: [redacted], proprietor of Grace Shores Recovery LLC, a sober living facility, evicted [redacted], my 19-year old daughter, the first week of April 2014, after I had already paid for the full month. On March 31, 2014, [redacted] had issued a check to Ms. [redacted] for April's fee of $1200. Ms. [redacted] and I spoke on the phone and I agreed to accept a refund of a pro-rated amount for the number of days my daughter stayed at Grace Shores facility in April before finding another place to live. [redacted] vacated the premises on April 10. I have called and emailed Ms. [redacted] several times since then and she has not responded. She owes me $800 for the balance of April during which my daughter vacated at Ms. [redacted]'s request.Desired Settlement: A cashier's check for $800 to be issued to me at [redacted], Falls Church, VA 22046.
