[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The parts to be replaced, i.eTransmission, at a minimum, are NO LONGER available through the manufacturer [redacted] has discontinued their manufacturingI wonder how the 35-year experienced mechanic had not advised the Director of this business of its unavailabity! Another proof of how unskilled this mechanic may be, or the lack of interest of Gold Star Cars in providing a firm and truthful solution to this complaint Only used transmissions are available for this vehicle at this timeWith this said, the repair quotes I have been provided already include a used transmissionOf course, the price of such transmission would be proportionate to its year, its mileage, and a warranty Several independent vehicle yards have been contacted by these repair shops and by myselfThe used transmissions with a fair mileage and with warranty are priced at no less than $ To this amount, I will also be charged for the mechanic labor, which based on Gold Star Cars significantly expensive $diagnostic cost, whereas most repair services offer it for free, I could imagine a final repair cost of no less than $4000; equaling approximately the amount I already paid for the vehicle three weeks earlier! I would like to clarify that with the $inversion I made, my three little children and myself could hardly had transportation during a short period of three weeksI would also like to note that when the vehicle broke down, Gold Star Cars was unavailable for my constant telephone calls, emails, and answering machine messages during days; also for the calls of the independent repair shops diagnosing the vehicleI can only imagine that Gold Star Cars intentionally awaited the right time to respond to my inquiries once the one-month warranty had already expired I understand a vehicle sold for ready use can incur in repairs, which will engage the customer not only in purchasing the vehicle at this business, but also to stick to the business for recurring repairs paid out of the pocket I really believe this is how Gold Star Cars is making up its benefits and personally think it's not right! In summary, With many years of experience Gold StAr Cars should agree that investing $in a vehicle with 205,miles makes no sense at all! Not even with used parts that will eventually break again, based on prior repair experience at this shopMost of the used [redacted] vehicles available for sale for $range from vehicles manufactured in to 2012, and with no more than 90,milesI would invest in a transmission replace repair in a vehicle of these featuresBut all repairs services conclude this vehicle will incur in other recurring repairsGold Star Cars' ethics are not and have not been visible at any point during this complaint process As I said in the past, my little children keep walking to and back school everyday carrying their backpacks and lunch boxesI, personally, am not able to apply for any job positions that support my family's needsI can only walk to buy groceries to the nearest store to my address, which happens to be the most expensive, which I have to visit many times during the week to be able to carry the food and products my family needsI have given up medical appointments, volunteer services at my kids' school and church; my mids have missed birthday partiesAll because Gold Stars has shown no interest but its to come to an agreementI'm requesting Gold Star Cars to refund the payments I have made as soon as possible so I'm able to move forward and ease my family with this inconvenient issue Regards, [redacted]

                         [redacted] purchased a 2005 [redacted] on 08/13/2015, On September 18,2015 [redacted] called Gold Star Cars early morning and explained to Karen...

that her vehicle had broke down and that she had the vehicle towed to Gold Star Cars on Sept 13,2015 and explained to Karen what conspired on that Sunday.  Karen explained to [redacted] that she would pull her records and would have to go over everything with [redacted] and [redacted].   On September 21,2015 I ([redacted]) was informed of the situation and called [redacted] to get a better understanding of what was going on.  [redacted] informed me that when she came in on Sunday that she paid a gentleman that is not employed by Gold Star but happen to be on the premises working on his own vehicle to fix her vehicle. Gold Star Cars is closed on Sundays.  I listened to [redacted] concerns and she told me that her vehicle was at the shop and her transmission was no more good.   I asked [redacted] if she could have her vehicle towed to Gold Star Cars so we could take a look and see what was going on.  She stated that her mechanic  looked at it and he said the trans was gone.   I ([redacted]) called the mechanic personally and got the codes that the car was reading. I then spoke with my mechanic and discussed what we could do..  On 09/22/2015 I called [redacted] back and offered to pay to have her van towed here and I also offered to give her a free diagnosis on the vehicle. . I also offered to return her money that she gave the mechanic on the previous Sunday. I offered to extend and honor her warranty that had expired. **. [redacted] told me that she is not willing to put another dime in her vehicle and she does not want me to come get the vehicle and that she had legal representation.  Gold Star Cars is a small family owned and operated business , we value our customers and strive hard every day to make sure each and everyone of our customer has a pleasurable experience.  I feel that we have gone above and beyond to help this family..  Thank You, [redacted]    Please see attached a copy of her buyers order, Maryland state Inspection, and 2 copy's of the signed warranty

GOLD STAR CARS DISCOUNTED THIS VEHICLE VEHICLE TO $4500.00 FOR [redacted] FOR BEING A REPEAT CUSTOMER.AT THE TIME OF THE PURCHASE, [redacted] WAS LIMITED TO HIS DEPOSIT AND AT THE TIME, THAT WAS THE ONLY VEHICLE THAT WAS AVAILABLE FOR THE DOWN PAYMENT HE HAD. We bought a car from this dealer. We paid the car's title processing. However after 2 months of unsuccessful contacting, we ended up in the MVA Headquarters (2-hr drive from home). We learned that Gold Star had not even processed the title 2 months post purchase. A shame that it was the MVA who personally delivered the title to our house? If this dealer does not commit to process something as simple as a title, would you think they are reliable for any other transactions or repairs? You get it! Keep up the good work Goldstar!

Review: I got a car from them not even a week later the transmission starts to leaks. The cars are junk and over priced I will never buy a car from them againDesired Settlement: Exchange car for something for the same down payment I put down on this car. I would not send anybody their to buy a car
