I was not delinquent when I called and made my payment inNovember and set my payments up with DAVID! I at that time WAS eligible for the deferral and he recommended me not to do so to make paymentsHad I not went on the advice of your employee and continued making my payments as I was, no later than days my acct would NOT BE REPORTED DELINQUENTYour employee specifically stated that I should be fine when I made my payment...as he said...it was past when they report itYour employee knowingly set me up with payments that had I not taken the advice from GO FINANCIAL and made my payments as I was, I would never be in this predicamentLying to your customers and telling them that making their payments with them and seeing with my payment history, I was never at any risk until taking his adviceHad he set me up with the deferral payment as I originally requested and was eligible for...this problem also would not be an issueBecause of the payments it not only made me more behind but then ineligibleWhat company makes your acct worse? I am very aware of how credit works so do not insult my intelligenceI obviously knew to pay by day and I was fine up until listening to your incompetent company's adviceYour employee told me it would be fineDid you not listen to the recorded phone callsI was specifically concerned that my credit was not affected by any payment arrangementsHe not once said it was at risk, and like I said he specifically said...its past the part of the month they report it anyhow! It should be fineIs that how you run your financial business, lying to people regardless of what they are concerned aboutI want this deleted! Plain and simple! Had I not taken the advice of your company and I continued making my payments as I had been, my acct would NEVER been at any risk at being reportedPERIOD! This is not acceptable at all

(Full response on attached)On April 8, 2017, our customer entered into a Retail Installment Contract (Contract) when he purchased a Kia Soul from CarvanaThe Contract was subsequently assigned to GO FinancialAt the time of purchase, our customer agreed to make monthly payments of $beginning on May 8, 2017, with one final payment of $Our customer had a regularly scheduled payment due on September 8, As this payment was not satisfied, the account entered into a default statusSubsequently, GO Financial began attempts to reach our customer to discuss the delinquencyOur customer contacted GO Financial on January 11, 2018, to discuss the status of the accountWe advised him that the account is days past due for $1,and that the vehicle is under review for recoveryOur customer advised that he would be able to make a payment on the following Tuesday, January He was advised that he would need to cure the delinquent balance to cancel the potential recovery of the vehicleGO Financial informed our customer that this payment would need to be made using a debit or credit cardOur customer advised he would need to review his finances and contact us backNo payment was received on January 15.On January 12, 2018, at days past due, GO Financial assigned the vehicle for recovery through a third party vendorBetween then and February 6, 2018, GO Financial made several unsuccessful attempts to reach our customerOn February 6, our customer visited GO Financial’s website and scheduled a post-dated payment, in the amount of $1,337, to be processed on February 21, This scheduled payment was not set up with a representative of GO Financial nor did it cancel the recovery assignment as the account remained severely past dueAdditionally, our customer did not contact GO Financial until February 7, 2018, when the vehicle was reported as recovered by the vendor

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The response is fictionThe response mentions one specific phone call, and makes no mention of the other phone calls, emails and letters that I received to collect this "late" paymentOn 8/21/2015, I received a call from Go Financial, and guess what? They "found" the checks that I had sent themThey had them the whole time, just as I had saidThe response states that the checks were being mailed to an incorrect address, but the address that they were mailed to is still (at this very minute) prominently displayed on their website, with no mention of the "new" address mentioned in the responseThe response says that as a goodwill gesture they are waiving the late fee, and makes no mention that I was never late with a paymentEver. Here is the real nature of my complaint - The company has no contact points for resolving resolutionsThey report that they have no email address to send proof of paymentThey stubbornly refuse to look at any situation with an open mindTheir own website list the address that they describe as the 'wrong" address in their responseWhen I was on the phone with various representatives and supervisors (They called or wrote to me EVERY SINGLE DAY!) I explained that I had mailed payment and had proof that the payments were in their possession They repeatedly told me that I could only resolve the issue by making a direct payment with them over the phone at a premium costI offered to email proof that the check was in their hands, and the responded by telling me that they do not have emailAfter calls (I am NOT exaggerating - I have phone records to prove this) I finally got an email address, and was told to send my entire bank statement for researchMy entire bank statementThat is beyond ridiculousI did it anyway and got no response other than the daily calls demanding that I make a payment over the phone. The caller on 8/21/confirmed that they had the checks the whole time and wanted to know how I wanted the credits appliedNothing was ever missing.I would not consider this issue resolved until things happen:The company has an email address where their unfortunate customers can submit proof of payment and a person actually looks at the emailThe company creates a better way to research issues without demanding that the customers' entire bank statement be turned over.I don't want their gift card or their inaccurate responseI want them to create a resolution system that allows for 2-way communication, instead of daily 1-way accusationsThere must be an appropriate system for resolutions Regards, [redacted] ***
