Glow RX Store Reviews (%countItem)

I ordered a trial product from this company. The money came out of my checking account on May, 10, 2019. Today (May 17, 2019) I received a fraud alert voicemail from my bank. Two charges came out of my checking account from this company (and a company associated with this company called Youth RX Store)in the amounts of $93.79 and $98.87. I called my bank *** in Columbus, Indiana back and gave them the case number that I received on the voicemail. They cancelled my debit card. They will do a fraud check. Once they verify I did not place the orders. My account will be reimbursed the charges. I called Youth RX Store/Glow RX Store. They told me that when I placed the initial order, I agreed to other products. I did not agree to order other products. I told them that was not true, that I never agreed to order any other product. I told them I filed a fraud case with my bank. She told me if I drop the fraud case, they would then talk about giving me a refund. I told them I would not drop the fraud case with my bank. I demanded they cancel an account I didn't even know that I had. She said she would cancel my account, but would not refund my money until I dropped the fraud case. I said I would not. I hung up and received two emails saying that my orders had been cancelled. The emails were from [email protected] that my order had been cancelled. The emails did not say my account had been cancelled. Please help me. These companies prey on people.

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment I want my money back. This company should be regulated.

Glow RX Store Response • May 29, 2019

We have read through Ms. complaint and are sorry to see the dissatisfaction she has as a result of doing business with our company. We do have our terms and conditions listed conspicuously on our website for our customers' to review prior to placing their order with us, though we regret that Ms. seems to have missed them. When you place an order to try out our products, you are given a 14 day window to see if you like our products and once that window is up, you are charged for the products in your possession and placed onto our monthly subscription list. We were able to locate an account for Ms. and can confirm that she originally placed her order with us on May 5th of this year and was charged for the products sent to her on May 17th. However, since she has filed a dispute on those post-trial period charges, we are unable to make any monetary adjustments moving forward; this is a precautionary policy for any customer in the event that they receive a refund from both their bank and from our company - which would be fraud, though unintentional. Our data does show that Ms. has officially filed a dispute and unless she loses this, we will be unable to issue a refund directly back to her. Nonetheless, it can be affirmed that she has been taken off of our subscription list and will not receive any further products or charges from our company. We hope this resolves her concern and want to offer our most genuine apology for the inconvenience.

Warm regards,
Customer Service Team

I did not sign up for any additional products. If I agreed to additional products from this company, it was them that signed me up. Or, the check box was so inconspicuous it was meant to fool the customer into receiving products they did not want. This business needs to make it perfectly obvious to its customers what they are agreeing to. I believe that is fooling the customer and is fraud. I absolutely did not order additional products. Of course I'm going to file a fraud report with my bank. I've never received the product I supposedly bought. Paying a company for a product with no product being delivered is theft. Why should I remove the fraud report. I cannot trust this company to refund money for a product I did not order and did not receive.

We apologize for the misunderstanding here, the products you were charged for are the ones sent to you initially. The trial period for these products expired after you had 14 days to try it and that is why you were billed. The tracking number for this was provided below but you have also confirmed in your response that you received your shipment of products. No need to worry however, seeing as your bank has not refunded you after filing this dispute, we have refunded your account in full for the products you were billed for, $98.87 and $93.79. Your total reimbursement is $192.66. This will be processed back into your account, depending on your financial institution, within the next 5-10 business days. We hope this resolves your concern and want to offer our most genuine apology for the inconvenience.

Warm regards,
Customer Service Team

Thank you for refunding the money you took out of my account. You did exactly what you should have done, and I do appreciate it. However, your business practices are very deceptive. You are not explaining to people that if they purchase the trial product you are only charging them $4.99 for shipping and handling. You do not spell out that the customer is also signing up for future products. I am pretty computer savvy, and when I shop online I keep an eye out for this type of practice. I did not see anything about being charged for future products. My bank said this is something SOME companies do to defraud the customer. Unscrupulous businesses like yours should immediately stop this practice. It is not fair to the consumer who is trying your product to see if they are interested in future purchases. Shame on you. Also, your advertising is fraudulent as well. You did not appear on Shark Tank. You used that ploy to legitimize your business. That is what caught my eye and interested me in the product. That was fraud. The Revdex.com should look into your fraudulent business practices and your false advertising.
