Customer was disappointed in our packaging. we resolved the situation by sending him another product. Customer was still unhappy with that product so we sent him a third product at no cost to him.
Review: My husband gave me a gift of $ 2,0000 that he put into a ghurka on line account. I have found nothing that I want from this store, so I asked for the money to be sent back to my husbands account. I was told by [redacted] that it would take up to 10 days for them to credit my account. The money was never returned so I called to find out where it was. I was then told...They refuse to give the money back to my husbands account ,and say that they do not refund any gift certificate moneys ,even if one doesn't want any thing ...and never wants any thing from this store. This is a very high end company, and this is an extreme amount of money to keep on a technicality. This is not a service or any perishable good but a hand bag company.Desired Settlement: Just to get the $ 2000 dollars back into my husband account.

Subsequent to the date of this posting, this complaint was resolved with this customer, who was able to secure an item from our collection that satisfied her needs. Per Ghurka policy we do not offer cash back for purchased gift cards. We do however, in contrast to other companies, attach no expiration date to these cards.
Review: I purchased a $495 portfolio from Ghurka. It came damaged. I returned it for a second one. They said they would issue me a credit for the first and charge me for the second product. I have not received a credit on my credit card statement and it has been 10 days. I told them the first two were damaged so they sent out a third one. It was okay. Not in great shape as the corners come up at the end. But I was tired of dealing with Ghurka, because they are clearly a low-end company. I ordered a leather cleaner on Tuesday with 2-day delivery so I would receive it by Friday. They reported on their website that they shipped it out on Wednesday but I checked on Thursday and it actually did not ship until Thursday. So I called on Thursday to Ghurka customer service because I needed the product on Friday. Customer service said they would stop the original shipment and send out a new one overnight so I would have it by Friday. THE PRODUCT DID NOT ARRIVE ON FRIDAY. I called [redacted] and they informed me that Ghurka did NOT send out a new product and they did NOT stop the original order. Ghurka is completely incompetent. They sell damaged products and their customer service is horrible!!!Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my $495. I also want a refund on the $15 leather cleaner. I want nothing more to do with Ghurka. Ghurka makes defective products and has horrendous customer service.
