Here we are again.
We have contacted Getassist to cancel our membership because we are concerned that when renewal time comes they will falsely use our credit card provided to auto renew.
As you can see below they say they will contact us about the auto renewal but we have not received anything.
Also we have not heard anything about a refund or any review of our account.
We have not received any leads what so ever.
STAY STAY AWAY from this company.

As mentioned in the email thread below the auto renewal will be shut off by support as per her request and they'll email Jessica to confirm once they've shut it off.

Youre not the only one with this issue ,im in the same shoe as you .Nobody answers or calls me .This company it's one of the worst so far.Poor customer service,ignorant people without a care in the world about contractors.
Our experience is everything that every negative review has shared.
How are companies like this able to operate on the bad fortunes (Getassist) back.
It seems to me the only benefit of this program is Getassist and their grossly overexaggerated fees and promises. Stay away.
I guess they are consistent with the sales lies and consistent broken promises.
They have that going for them.
Do not use this company. Multiple complaints. "D" rating with BBB including lies and threats. No customer service but more importantly lied about billing and contract
Have only been on for a few months and have made my membership fee for the year back already. Super simple for clients and trades to use, I highly recommend this tool.

He hire guys to work for him, keep them working for 2,3,4, or more weeks with lies, and then not pay ,
Stay away from this guy from Toronto(GTA) or you will loos your time and money working for him,
Do not sign with Get assist is a scam and they lie in order to get you to sign on. We were told we would get work from advertising with them. All we get is fake orders from them signing up other people. Just throw your money in the garbage don't waste it on this company,

In order to discuss any potential job that you might get through Get Assist you must pay each time you send a message, I believe it is $2 a message. When I signed up I was told that if I get the job they make a small fee of of me getting the job and that is how they make a majority of their income, all false. There is no way for you to do any checks or balances either, you have to take them at their word. The day I signed up they told me to my face that they will only bring on so many of the same trades, place an ad in any field and see how many responses you get. I had my wife put an ad out and she received 50 responses within a day. That's an easy $100 to Get Assist who told everyone of this trades the exact same thing that they told me - 8 to 10 trades per field. Run from these people, they do not help anyone but themselves.

Get Assist is an excellent way to find companies to do what I did not have time for around my home. I was looking for a new roof and with in a day I had six roof companies responding to set up quotes. I did the same for my kitchen Reno's. I have also made a family community which is secure and I don't get any pop up advertising or other e-mail from anyone but my family that are in my community.
Great product! and it's free. I totally recommend it.

They stated that they were associated with Revdex.com & that we were selected to advertise on their page.
So far what we have found out: they are not associated or even rated on Revdex.com.
They have taken our $ & refuse to refund it once we found out about the lies.
We NEVER spoke to anyone after the $ was taken from us.
So far we have received 12 job ads for over 300km away from our business.
How this is living up to their end of the deal...I have no idea.

Getassist contacted my company saying that they needed an electrical contractor in the region of Edmonton. We sat up a meeting. During the meeting, they told me that they had only 2-3 electrical contractor associated with them in all Edmonton and they needed more. As the meeting was going on, I noticed another gentleman with a jacket with a logo from another electrical contractor. I told them that I found that strange that they were saying that they didn't have almost any contractor and in the same time as I am in the office, one walk in. As soon as he was out of sight, they said that he was from out of town. I should've known that it was a lie. Anyway, I raised my concern about not being too many contractor into this and they made it clear that they didn't want more than 7-8 contractor of each trade. They told me that I should get a request per month. They told me that it was 279$/yr. I thought that for 1 job per month, it was worth the try. Then I said, I would give it a try for a year. They didn't tell me that they had 3 different plans, they put me in for their most expensive one without telling nothing about the others (79$, 159$ and 279$). After I came back home, I went on their site and it was then that I discovered the other plans that would've fit more my needs.
I decided to put a request for book keeping for my company just to see. Within 45 minutes, I received more than 30 answers and by the end of the day over 50. I called back the first one and the lady was all surprised to learn how many answers I got. She told me that they told her that they were only 3-4 book keeping enterprises with them (remind you something?). Then, I began understanding their game.
My wife decided to put a request for an electrician in Edmonton and within 3 hours, she received 19 answers! A tiny bit more than their 2-3 contractors that they told me they had 2 days before! By the way, they won't tell you all the hidden fees such as 2$ each time you answer a request.
I got mad and felt lied to. I called them back and left a message to cancel all this and be reimbursed. I am still waiting for them to return my call. I have a feeling that it won't be easy.
Don't trust them, all they want is your money. They will lie to you without any hesitations to get the maximum money. They are using the same strategy as [redacted] meaning lets overfill the place and make maximum money.
