G & G Remodeling

Review: On Saturday August 3 I made a verbal contract with [redacted] of G&G Remodeling to paint the front of my house. We agreed on a price of $1100 to be paid in two installments. I paid him $500 and his crew began work on Sunday, August 4. On August 17 he and his crew returned and he told me that they would finish up that day and I needed to pay him. So I gave him a check for $600.00. They did not finish. On September 28 they had still not returned so I left a message for [redacted]. I never heard back from him so I left another message on October 12. He sent a man to paint on October 20 but they still did not finish the job. I left two messages after that but they never returned to finish the job or called me back.Desired Settlement: Either refund part of the money or finish the painting of the front of my house

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] called and left a message today saying he would contact me in March. That does not mean that the complaint has been settled as no work has been done yet.

This refers to a complaint I made about G&G Remodeling. The complaint was closed 1-30-14 with the understanding that they would make good on finishing an exterior paint job they started last summer. I have not been contacted by them and my phone calls and emails are not answered. I would like the complaint to be reposted permanently.
