On may 9th 2019 I was on the website called Face Book market place. Myself and my wife were both looking for living room furniture and/or kitchen sets. We came across a kitchen table and chairs that we liked, and sent a message to inquire if the items were still available. We received a message back confirming the set was still available. The message came from an owner or employee named ***. In the message, *** also stated that they offer 90 days same as cash, with no credit check, just need a checking account. Due to this claim I grabbed my checkbook, and my family, we drove 45 minutes from my home to look around at this store. I was hoping I could take my wife there, and allow her to pick out living room furniture and a kitchen table for Mothers Day. As soon as my wife walked in she picked out furniture she liked. My wife wasn't feeling well so she went to sit in the car after picking out wha she liked, but she was very excited anticipating that I would come to the car with a delivery date of when she would be receiving the furniture. Also, there were various posters hanging in the store advertising No Credit Needed, and 90 days Same as Cash! I talked to *** personally while I was in the store, and I believe he is the owner, however, he would not honor his personal message stating the 90 days same as cash, no credit check, only need a checking account. Instead, he had me fill out an application on a computer to apply for credit. initially, I thought I was entering my information so he could have on file in order to be able to purchase the furniture with a down payment, and do the 90 days same as cash agreement, because that's what I asked about. I was denied the credit, but I never would have wanted to apply for credit as I am in the process of rebuilding my credit as this past year my wife and daughter have been very sick, and both of them have been in and out of the hospital a lot, and it has taken a toll on our family, which is why I wanted to do something special. When I tried to speak with *** about honoring what he said he gave me the phone number for the financing company and said he would honor it if they did. I was on hold with the finance company for 45 minutes, but they were very polite, and they had me send them proof of the statement, as soon as they saw it they informed me that the statement came directly from the furniture store. I went back in to talk to ***, but he became very belligerent and irate in front of my young daughters. he put us out of the store. Also, I do have pictures of the posters in the store, as well as a copy of the message sent to me personally. I could not figure out how to attach it to this form, but if someone will get back to me I can email copies of what I have. Thank You

I purchased a desk in may which was not delivered until july. Upon delivery I advised the drawers were broken, they took the drawers to fix and brought them back a few days later. They were still not sitting correct and I asked for a new desk they advised. We will order it and deliver it

In august 2019 I relocated from Wisconsin to Edwardsville il, I kept *** at the store informed and he advised they would ship the desk no problem.

I have never recieved the desk or pices to fix the drawers. I have called multiple times and *** advises to call back in 10 minutes. When I call back he will not answer and it has gotten to the point be will not answer at all.
