The email below was sent to the customer on

The customer did not pay for guaranteed delivery and in our industry if delivery is not guaranteed it may take up to 10 business days for a truck to deliver something from Cleveland, Ohio to San Francisco, California. We did everything we could to help the customer and find a substitute juicer in San Francisco. [redacted] made multiple phone calls on Friday night after his work day was way over to our customers in SF area to see if somebody could loan a juicer. Unfortunately, that weekend was a Father's Day weekend and all the restaurants that offer fresh squeezed OJ had Sunday brunches and needed their juicers badly in anticipation of the high volume weekend. 
 
[redacted], the assistant of [redacted] was able to find one customer of his who was willing to loan a commercial hand juicer (retails for $875) for the weekend, but [redacted] refused the offer. 
 
We empathize with the customer, but we feel that in the circumstances we did everything in our power to help the customer have a commercial juicer for his conference. 
 
We processed a refund to the customer right away and never charged the customer for shipping of the juicer to and from California, which we paid for, even though the customer never paid for guaranteed shipping. 
We also offered the customer a $250 discount in the event that the customer decides to purchase it.

I received your voice message. I am aware of the situation and sincerely apologize for what has happened with the juicer delivery. I know that [redacted] did everything he could to find the substitute juicer in San Francisco area last Friday night to make sure your booth looks and functions the way you planned it to.
It was an unfortunate event.  [redacted] should have conveyed to the shipping department the urgency of the matter the day that your employee put in the order.  We would like to maintain our relationship with your company.  In the event that you would like to repeat this event again, or perhaps purchase the unit so that you don't have to rely on shippers ever again, we will extend a $250 discount on the unit for you.

-Business has responded via phone stating that the consumer's money was refunded and the consumer has also kept the equipment.
