His Membership cost $15,000 but he received a discounted rate of $5,400 for year 1 of Membership. As per our policy outlined in the contract he signed, Memberships automatically renew unless we receive written notice of cancellation prior to the renewal date.    On 9/**/2015, [redacted] emailed his account manager that he did not want to renew. The main reason for cancellation was that [redacted]'s planned transition from his previous job took longer than anticipated and he did not leverage Axial as much as he originally intended. After several conversations, Axial agreed to extend [redacted]'s initial discounted rate and work together for another 12 month term. [redacted]'s new goal was simply to network with advisors and company owners. A new contract (attached) was signed on 10/*/2015 for $5,400 covering 9/**/2015 through 9/**/2016 and was set to automatically renew for $15,000 unless we received written notice of cancellation prior to the renewal date on 9/**/2016.    Since then, we have worked with [redacted] to help him maximize value on the network. In July of 2016, we made several recommendations for new contacts that [redacted] appreciated. [redacted] also mentioned on a call on 7/**/2016 that his transition was almost complete and he was ready to leverage Axial more. Following that conversation there were several more in which [redacted] provided his account manager with positive feedback and requested to speak more often. Towards the end of August, [redacted] leveraged the network to find investors for a deal he was advising on and received interest for 19 interested firms. In the month of September alone, he was pursuing 2 conversations regarding deals he was interested in investing in himself.   On 9/**/2016, [redacted]'s Membership renewed as per the terms in his contract. When that happened, [redacted] indicated that he was unhappy with the service (a reversal from his previous feedback) and requested a refund. We make it a priority to work closely with our customers to ensure they find value in their Membership and [redacted] was no exception. He was providing positive feedback and gave his account manager no indication that he wanted to cancel his subscription. We offer a very customer centric renewal policy that is modeled after many other prominent SaaS businesses. We do not offer refunds or partial subscription terms.
