[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Let Mr M [redacted] know that he may have "thought" he went over towing issues with me but again, he was not clear, he's a very fast talker like a car sales man! I was l hooked in by the "free towing" ad that they place My vehicle was very much drivable, as I drive it off of that lot with the quickness! I would have NEVER agreed to have my vehicle towed there in the first place it I knew that I would be towed if I didnt get the work done there I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN IT THERE FOR AN ESTIMATE ON MY OWN!!! I knew nothing about Free Miles, Dont know any mechanics at Free Miles Why would I agree to have work done there over the phone? I was shopping around for estimates Again, $2,was his price but I knew that I could do better, which I did!I went to Mr M [redacted] on [redacted] , MD and they did a GREAT JOB for only $ I till say I was scammed for a $tow My M [redacted] Knew that my vehicle was drivable!!!!!!Regards, [redacted]

First let me say Its obvious that we dont agree on what transpired or I would not have filed my complaint I NEVER told M*** that I had a transmission to be Installed I asked him what the cost would be IF I purchased my own transmission and had them Install it to cut down on the cost Again, had I known that I would be charged for the tow if no transmission work would be done there I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN IT THERE MYSELF, JUST LIKE I DROVE IT HOME ITS WAS DRIVEABLE! I was charged $for towing it there which I want back! Why would I accept the "Free tow" (which they advertise, that wasnt FREE) when I didnt know if they would be the repair shop that would do the work It was sent ther for an ESTIMATE, which I didnt get a direct answer This is supposed to be a transmission shop! After asking several times for as estimate I was told "We wont know until we actually take the transmission apart" Who on Gods green earth would agree to terms like that? They could have told me the job cost $ Am I supposed to agree because they towed it ther?, NO WAY!! I found out after the fact when I received two rejected letters from *** that they ran a loan application One was for $3000, the other for a different amount I would NEVER have agreed to apply for a loan of that amount The used truck only cost me $ I was livid! The point is, It was recommended to me to go to "Mr M***" on ***, MD It was there that I had a rebuilt transmission put in for ONLY $I am very happy with the work that was done and now I have a mechanic shop for life I reccomend Mr M*** to EVERYONE! I never heard of "Free Miles" and I see why Nothing is FREE especially at Free Miles Thumbs down to that place!

x [redacted] <[redacted]@[redacted].com>May 30 (6 days ago)This is M[redacted] @ Free Miles Transmission in response to complaint ID [redacted].  I did receive [redacted]'s responds.  I went over the towing with him before it was towed in. I told [redacted] towing is free with any major rebuild. I'm not 100% sure what he is meaning about the financing. If he is referring to the amount asked for, for the application. The amount asked for has nothing to do with the amount used if he was approved. To me he his saying that he didn't know we "ran a loan application". Of course he knew, where would we get his personal information for the application. Also he states "they could have told the job cost $4000". Well [redacted] did have a concern with that and that is why I gave him a max price of $2500 which I wrote in my first reply.
