The following is intended to serve as a response to the complaint issued by Diamond [redacted] to Carplex, Inc. through the Revdex.com Serving Central Indiana.   Ms. [redacted] purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze [redacted] on 11/10/2015 from Carplex.  Never was the vehicle brought...

back in to Carplex service for regular oil changes or maintenance.  The oil, oil filter, as well as several other issues lead us to believe that she has not properly maintained the vehicle.  After driving the vehicle for 15 months over 31,000 miles she brought the vehicle in to Carplex [redacted] Service Department the last week of February 2017 for diagnosis of smoking and ticking sound.  [redacted] Service quoted Ms. [redacted] $1,489.36 for repairs, and specifically and intentionally disclosed to her that this was not the total repair cost. This was a quote to get the vehicle driveable because it had not been maintained well, but there were still other seen and unforeseen issues that she chose not to have repaired.  Carplex is aware that over $1,400 is a large sum of money to come up with out of pocket, so a payment plan was offered to and accepted by Ms. [redacted].  She paid $621 on 3/2/17 up front to get the work done, and then agreed to monthly installments thereafter.  As of today 3/22/17 the vehicle is still stored at Carplex [redacted] due to the fact that we are requiring proof of valid insurance prior to releasing the vehicle to Ms. [redacted].   Carplex will not refund any service costs to Ms. [redacted], as work has been done and parts have been paid for and installed.  The onus is completely on Ms. [redacted] at this point to show proof of valid insurance, redeem vehicle, and continue to pay the $144 monthly installments agreed to on 3/2/17 when she paid the up-front costs to get the work started.    Sincerely, Tyler W[redacted] VP Asset Management Carplex, Inc. 3900 S. [redacted] RE: Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted], The following is...

intended to serve as a response to the complaint issued by [redacted] to Carplex, Inc. through the Revdex.com of Central Indiana. Ms. [redacted] is the co-buyer with [redacted] on a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with VIN [redacted] purchased from Carplex on 11/25/2017. Both the buyer and co-buyer provided documentation at time of purchase that they were employed with MS Inspections. After following up with the HR department at MS Inspections on 11/29/17, underwriting learned neither buyer had received a paycheck from MS Inspections since 10/27/2017. The collateral was then secured, and consequently the original sales contract was voided. The restocking fee for a voided contract is $500 which exceeds the $300 Ms. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] paid as down payment money on 11/25/17. The collateral was in good working condition at time or purchase, as well as after it was secured. In situations such as this we do our very best to make both parties whole after voiding the contract. We are disappointed we couldn’t continue Ms. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted]’s contract, but in an effort to make Carplex whole the request for $300 refund will not be granted to Ms. [redacted].  Please contact me using the information below with any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Tyler W[redacted] VP Asset Management Carplex, Inc.  12875 Broad St. Carmel, IN 46032 317-547-1000 tyler.w[redacted]@carplex.com  __________________________...
