August 31, 2015On July 27, 2015, [redacted] brought his [redacted] in for serviceAt that time, he stated that his car was overheating and his cooling fan was not operatingHe requested a diagnosis of the problem.We found his radiator cooling fan not coming on causing an overheating problem We performed a power circuit test for the cooling fan and traced it to a faulty cooling fan moduleWe also tested and made sure there was no internal engine damage due to the overheating.We provided [redacted] with an estimate to replace cooling fan module/motor assemblyAt that time, he wanted to buy off-brand aftermarket parts and fix the problem himself.The $charge was for service requested and provided.in diagnosing his overheating and fan problems that it was brought in for.Sincerely,George W

This issue has not been resolved at all.I have not recieved any money back and I have had to cancel my chequeing account to stop them from taking money out of my account.My agreement with this company should have been canceled when I returned the merchandise.I do not want to deal with this company any more and would like to cancel my agreement to buy filters as I no longer trust them.I have paid $into this and want this returned

I am rejecting this response because they diagnosed the problem to be a broken cooling fan and they gave me an expensive bill for ordering the part and repairing itI didn't accept to leave my car with them however they charged me $anyway when they learned that I do not want them to fix itMy car went on working with no problemBut according to their diagnosis and just to be sure, I ordered the part online for cheaper and took my car to another service shop for second opinionHe did not find any fault with the fan at all! I kept the fan just in caseThe car has been working without any problem ever sinceI contacted Winkler and complained about their misdiagnosis and asked them to return my money because of the wrong diagnosisTheir response: your car had a cooling fan problem when you brought it in! How could this happen that there is a problem at one time and it disappears completely another time?

He requested a diagnosis of the problem.We found his radiator cooling fan not coming on causing an overheating problem....

We performed a power circuit test for the cooling fan and traced it to a faulty cooling fan module. We also tested and made sure there was no internal engine damage due to the overheating.We provided [redacted] with an estimate to replace cooling fan module/motor assembly. At that time, he wanted to buy off-brand aftermarket parts and fix the problem himself.The $108.38 charge was for service requested and provided.in diagnosing his overheating and fan problems that it was brought in for.Sincerely,George W
