Safely Walk in Tubs, LLC dba Safe at Home Solutions has received the complaint that was filed with the Revdex.com of Kansas City There are a few things that we want to address in regards to the complaint that was filed Attached please find the supporting documentation in the form of: Customer Agreement (Remodeling Contract), [redacted] Completion Certificate, and the Safe at Home Completion Certificate First, the items that were on the contract that was signed by the customer were: A walk in tub, left hand, white; an acrylic window trim kit and installation; and safety barsNothing in the contract that was signed by the customer states anything about tiling, mold removal, or installing a new toilet in the bathroom Second, there are two (2) completion certificates that have been signed by the customerThe first completion certificate is for our funding company, [redacted] , and clearly states: “AAll the goods and services provided for in the above described credit sales agreement have been delivered and performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with the terms of said agreementBThe Buyers named in said agreement did not exercise their right to cancel said agreement after having received, prior to the delivery of any part of the goods and/or performance of any part of the services contracted for, due and proper notice of the existence of their right to do so.” The second completion certificate that was signed by the customer clearly states: “I HEREBY CERTIFY: Safe at Home has completed the work it agreed to do to my satisfaction and in accordance with the terms of the Customer Agreement (Remodeling Contract)I have no service requests and no complaints regarding the work performed.” Our company policy regarding warranty is as follows: We do offer a one (1) year workmanship warranty on all of our installs Therefore, if there are any issues with the work agreed upon in the customer contract we will gladly come out at no charge during the first year and address The third issue that we want to address is the advertising complaint Our company offers complete bathroom remodeling in select markets We offer complete bathroom remodeling services within a two hour radius of the Kansas City area Certainly if the customer would like to hire us to remodel the entire bathroom we can provide a price quote to do so As a resolution, we will not complete an entire bathroom remodel for the purchase price that the customer has paid of $10, However, if the customer provides the tile, we will be more than happy to replace the current shower surround with a custom tile surround at no additional fee Please call [redacted] at ###-###-#### to schedule the free tile upgrade

We obtained the customer contact information from an outside vendor on 05/20/with the understanding that the customer had requested information on a walk in tub or a safety shower Our office called and spoke to [redacted] on 08/30/and set an appointment to have our technician stop by on 08/31/at 2:pm Our technician spent a couple of hours with Mr& Mrs [redacted] going over the details A credit application was completed where Mr& Mrs [redacted] provided their full name, address, social security number, date of birth, drivers license number and several more personal details The purpose of the credit application was to see how low we could get an interest rate and how low we could get a payment for the purchase of a walk in tub or safety shower We have no way to obtain a credit report for a customer unless they provide the personal information and give us consentOnce the credit application was completed and consented to by both Mr& Mrs [redacted] our office called an outside 3rd party finance company and received a credit inquiry The 3rd party finance company thereby approved the application with a purchase price up to$19,Mr& Mrs [redacted] were offered several different payment options but decided not to hire our company to complete the project All of their personal information was destroyed and no further contact has been attempted by our office and no further contact is anticipatedSince we are not a 3rd party financing company we did not obtain the credit report The credit inquiry was made from a 3rd party vendor However, regardless of who made the credit inquiry it is not something that can be deleted The major credit bureaus leave the inquiry on a credit file for a standard number of years and as I understand the process it is the same for everyoneWe would be happy to discuss the matter with the customer at any time Please have them call [redacted] and ask for [redacted] and I would be happy to discuss the matter with them
