This website is a scamI know for a fact they've sold off my information or at least access to my information(in other words, my information), not to mention they will email you constantly with "paid" survey "opportunities", in which you will spend about 10-minutes answering questions, the first half to see if you qualify to take the survey, then the second half being the actual survery, then rather than pay you, they will just throw up a " sorry your answers don't qualify you" message at what appears to be midway through the survey, but I'd actually the end of the survey as you've already answered and given them all of the data they needed to sell or fulfill a contract with an unsuspecting companyObviously they have no intention of ever paying out anything to anyone when there isn't even a way to check how many credits you've earned(presumably because you will never actually earn any)Point is, they use incredibly shady practices to get out of paying you anything for the information they will then harvest and sell off

Focus Pointe Global sometimes puts people into a "hold" status if the quota they fit into has already been filled. If someone is unable to participate, we then call upon the person who is "on hold." According to our records, [redacted] was never sent a Confirmation email. She was, however, called... and sent an email to let her know of her "hold" status. This is not a promise to participate, it simply means that we will get back in touch with you if you are needed. We do not pay people who are on hold but are not chosen to actually participate. The email that was sent to [redacted] includedthe text below:Dear [redacted] ,This email is to inform you that you have been placed on Hold for the upcoming research study which you were scheduled for. This means that you have fallen into a quota which has already been filled, and we do not currently have an opening for you in this group. Please be advised that you are not eligible to attend this group, however we have placed you on a waiting list, and will certainly contact you to reschedule your appointment should an opening become available. To Whom It May Concern,When this respondent called in, she did not have the specific project number for this study, only a description of the topic that she had seen from our websiteUnfortunately, that was not enough information for the representative to go on in order to find out more about the studyDue to the respondent being very upset and verbally aggressive with the representative, she was sent over to one of our supervisors, Connie in this case, but she was faced with the same problem, in that just having a description of a topic was not enough information for the supervisor to give the respondent an immediate responseTo find out this information for the respondent, it would have taken research by our online support staff in order to find out exactly what study was being referred to, but the respondent was not patient enough for us to properly sort out this issueWe are more than happy to fully research the study in question Thank you

We are very sorry that *** *** feels that he was misledOur studies are sometimes very complex with many moving parts, and we acknowledge that it can sometimes be confusingHowever, in this instance the Confirmation letter clearly states that "If you are not selected for the focus group, you will receive $150." I am again attaching the Confirmation letter. Focus Pointe Global maintains that the instructions were given in writing and that they are clear.As a gesture of good faith we are willing to offer *** *** a $Amazon e-card that can be emailed to him immediately.Thank you
