The business claimed that I was looking for a handout.   This is clearly not the case.  Damage was caused to my windshield under their care.  I conceeded  that I would accept a reduced price, but their claim that I was looking for a handout is totally false, offensive and unfounded.   This business should be avoided.   I totally and wholeheartedly reject this irrersponsible response from this irresponsible business.  Stay away.
I was not looking for a  hand out from this business.  Significant damage occured to my windshield while under their care.  Me and my insurance company paid them $4000 for repairs while it was under their care.  I had a tiny pencil pk knick to my windshield that grew to a large, undulating crack across most of the windshiled while the car was in their care and  they think  that I'm asking for a handout.    I was nice enough to not insist that they pay for help  of  the repair.  I paid  the $276
I am rejecting this response because: (see above).   With so many other choice out there,  this dishonest, lousy business should be avoided.

Review: The car was delivered for repair after a motor vehicle accident. There was a very tiny knick on the windshield when the car was dropped off for repair. When the car was delivered to me after the body work was done there was a huge, long, undulating crack on the windshield making it necessary to eventually replace the windshield. The company did not disclose to me that additional damage to my car occured when they delivered it to me. When I asked them about the additional damage that occured, they told me not to address the problem till the weather warmed up. While the car was in the posession of [redacted] Collision Experts damage to my windshield was sustained and they were not up front about the sustained damage till I confronted them about it. They said that the cold weather caused the damage even though the car was inside the whole time during the repair period. Since the car was under their care while it was being repaired and the additional damage happened under their watch, I believe they are financially responsible for the repair of this additional damage, up to an including the cost for parts and labor in replacing the windshield.Desired Settlement: Repair to the long, extensive and undulating crack in my windshield that occurred under their watch. I believe that the company is responsible for damage that occurs to a car that is under their care. While the car was in their care, the tiny, insignificant knick that was on the window grew to a very long, extensive and undulating crack. My family and I feel unsafe driving the car as a result of the damage that occured at [redacted]. One can feel the crack from the outside of the car. My desired outcome is for [redacted] to take responsibility for the damage that was either caused by them or occured as an "act of God" under their watch and pay the replacement of the windowshield. Before the car was dropped off I could have repaired the knick for $40 dollars. Now, because of what happened while there, the whole windowshield needs to be replaced. Payment for the replacement of the windowshield would be a normal cost of doing business when damage occurs to a car under their care.
