We had flooring installed by the company.They installed a toilet wrong and didn't put the tank on correct and knowingly left it on and leaking. We arrive from [redacted] a week later with the bathroom, master bedroom, and entertainment to kitchen flooded. I immediately called the company and the head installer told me he knew about the leak and he never came back out. They offered to fix the toilet and vanity which started to swell but never followed through. I had to pay a plumber and I had to make a home owners claim. The owner, [redacted], also wanted to lay down the stained, wet smelly carpet after I kept telling him it all needs to be I'm not paying for damaged carpet I haven't even used. They came back to fix the floor and it's already lifting 6 weeks later.My carpet in the rooms they did have hard lumps under it but not the rooms from the contractors [redacted] insurance sent out. No refund was given for damaged carpets, laminate or anything else. My floors continue to lift in the areas that were replaced from water damaged and other areas not affected./////Desired SettlementI would like a refund for the damaged carpet and laminate that was flooded. We never used it the carpet or laminate before it was flooded. I would like the areas that are lifting replaced or the money for another company to replace the flooring. This will be the second time for replacing the floor. I am caring for the laminate properly per their instructions. No mopping. No water. Just a spray solution lightly misted with a microfiber mop. /////
