I'm supposed to sign finale settlement, but I've never had them respond to my injury. Over a year I've called and asked, Lori Only calls me to sign papers. Well they get the maximum, my leg (broken) has gone 100% unhelped since I hired her. I did get a threatening letter about her putting a lein on my suit because I didn't respond to her. Thats because I'd appreciate my injury being helped. Insurance said they won't talk to me. So I've gone over a year with a screwed up leg. I tell Lori how my neck and arm still hurts, she ignores that, well it's my leg to start with. Since I made it easy on them, they just decided not to help with my injury, only money. So I'll go sign today, but it'll be a release of obligation as my attorney. Thats the only way insurance will talk to me. There's more too, I've left msg. Of what number to not use, they use just that one, what gives. I think the second my voice is heard on recorder she erased it. They don't care about you, but they want that money. During co19 she called often, I was in hospital, asked her to not call my 82yr old mothers home, she continues to do so to this day.. I just want to get whats right, but appears that requires work, which she's 100% unwilling to do...
Kevin is a great attorney. For being an attorney he went out of his way to help my family and I after being in a car accident. I was able to contact him but his paralegal knew exactly what was going on at all times. When mediation was near he got my case settled for more than we expected. Mr. Kevin *** is just out for your money. I spent a total of 30 minutes of face time with him. I could have handled my case in sweat pants, and had a bad situation wrapped up start to finish in six months serving my sentence for under two grand with legal fees and penalties all in. Not only did he take weeks to respond to calls and emails. I did all the leg work in regards to the false DUI allegations at the DMV, he told me not to worry about being on the call as he would handle it at the DMV hearing. Mr. and his assistant made sure the officer would be present, at the DMV hearing, and he reassured me via phone, email, and text, she was not. Not only did he say sorry your out of luck, via a phone call, I came to find out via the transcript for the hearing he had an opportunity to have another hearing but he was to lazy to submit a subpoena to request the officer to be present at a future hearing the DMV judge was willing to grant me. He also failed to advise me (which he is LEGALLY required to, at all turns of the case both in county court and with the DMV, as to my rights, and the consequences of taking any plea, or not. Which he did NOT do. The repercussion's of his actions or lack there of ultimately took my initial mistake (which I do take responsibility for my actions) It took me another lawyer and ultimately I will have to deal with aftermath for two years for his pure laziness. I asked him to make it Right after the DMV hearing. His response was there was nothing he could do. When I asked for a response as to why he simply didn't schedule the second DMV hearing and subpoena the officer and in a timely manner. No response. DO NOT work with this law firm.
At Flesch & Beck we do everything we can to minimize potential criminal allegations and their ramifications. We are sorry that Ms *** is dissappointed in the results at the DMV hearing. Her results had nothing to do with a lack of due diligence on any work done by members of the Firm. The result had everything to do with the hearing officer's determination of the facts set forth in the reports submitted by the Officers involved in the case. The fact an officer did not show for her hearing or would have shown up at another time had no impact on the result. The Firm fully advised Ms. of all of her rights in the matter and have been professional throughout the representation. Ms. was always responded to in a timely manner and her interests were well represented. The Firm never guarantees results in these matters. We wish Ms. well in all aspects of her continued criminal defense matters.
The questions at hand are simple. I was not advised legally of the repercussions regardless of the result. The DMV hearing is simple. The Officer was to be present. I was promised she would be present, she was not. Mr. was given the opportunity to reset a new hearing and did not due to sheer laziness, and against a very clear preset agreement. You hire a lawyer for two reasons: to be your advocate and to advise you. You do this knowing there are no promised outcomes. Again this law firm will provide you neither. I am at blame for not doing better research on this lawyer and asking for everything in writing, and had I been present at the DMV hearing when the judge said would you like to move back this trial- I would have been able to say YES. The other reasoning on the decision was based on technicality- had Mr. spoke more than two words other than to proceed with the hearing, he would have also again been advocate and said if you refer to the following exhibits there were more than two hours between when the said defendant was seen in her vehicle and when she asked to speak with counsel. Again, regardless of the outcome here are two of many examples when I was given no advise and certainly this law firm was not my advocate. Save yourself the money, hire another lawyer who will, or represent yourself. Check out their reviews on Yelp, and Google, their negative reviews far out weight their positive. I wish I would have paid more attention than to just those they selectively posted to their own website. My intentions here are simply to be an advocate to others in search of legal help, to make their own educated decisions, which ever that may be. Good luck out there.
