text-align: left;" valign="top"> Regarding Case ID *** response to Revdex.com complaintThe customers Jet Ski was brought to our shop, Fiore’s Powersports located at *** *** *** *** ** ***, to diagnose an engine problemWe took the Jet Ski in and performed initial diagnosis to determine the cause of the problemIn order to fully diagnose the problem the Jet Ski was placed into our test tank so it could be tested under loadThe customer was called prior to the additional testing to approve serviceThe Jet Ski was placed into the test tank and ran to confirm symptoms and diagnose causes of problemsThe Jet Ski ran poorly reaching only rpms max and produced heavy smoke from the tailpipeWe were able to determine that the direct injection system in the Jet Ski had failed and was causing fuel to poor unregulated into the engineThe customer had stated that the engine had run this way for some time before bringing the Jet Ski in for serviceWhile the engine would still run with the injector problem, the engine was not getting properly lubricatedThe engine was reading compression numbers below factory specs indicating an engine problemWe recommended replacing the fuel injectors and quoted the customer an estimate for parts and laborThe customer declined doing the service and opted to take the jets ski back without doing any repairsThe customer paid his diagnostic bill over the phone so he could pick his jet ski up after regular business hoursWe received a call the following day from the customer stating that he had ran the jet ski in our parking lot after hours without being hooked up to waterHe stated that he ran the Jet Ski in our parking lot after business hours without cooling and without completing the repairs and consequently locked the engineThe customer then demanded that we give him a new engine free of charge because he had brought in a “perfectly running Jet ski” and now it wouldn’t runWe preformed no repair work on the Jet Ski and only did a diagnostic examination and provided an estimate for repairThe situation has been explained to the customer and he has since picked up his jet skiWe have received word from Revdex.com that he has since contacted Revdex.com to rescind his complaint
