Ferrari & Associates Insurance & Financial

I had car insurance with Ferrari & Associates Insurance (formerly ***), policy no. ***. On August 29, 2018, I told them I will be on business trip outside canada for a few months, asking them to temporarily stop my policy for a few months, the employee named *** emailed me the form needed to fill out. I printed, signed and filled it out and faxed it back to their office at *** as he directed in his email on about Sep. 23, 2018. Then I went to US and China. I came back in Feb, 2019, called them again to activate my insurance policy, and were told my policy was cancelled because of "no payment". and because of the "fault of mine", I have to pay the increased fee by 20%. I was shocked, tried to explain to them, but they don't listen to me, insisted on increasing fee and also gave me a fine of $790...Because I had to keep my car running, I was forced to pay them for another 4 months and asked them to stop this policy permanently. Then refused to stop it unless I pay them $790 fine again, because I have not stayed with them for 6 months...I said to them, I have been with them almost 2 years...and they replied that this is a new policy, the one I had in 2017 and 2018 was cancelled. so they forced me to them another fine $790 and cancelled my policy.

When I applied the new policy, the agent told me I have to pay triple premium to insurance company because there is "no pay" record on my payment history, which was added by Ferrari & Associates Insurance (formerly ***) This is totally unacceptable!

now, I cannot use my car, which is seriouly affect my business and family life...
