On June 6, 2018 I took my daughter with me to Fastest Labs of *** (#***8 to acquire a paternity test to prove if I'm her father or not. She was visiting me in Tx from Ga for a week. So, I had a discussion with her explaining to her that her mother and I weren't in a relationship when she was conceived. We agreed that we would rather know than to be in the dark. I went to Fastest Labs because it was close and the name, "fastest" considering she was in town for a short visit. They swabbed us both and pkg'd our DNA to be shipped, and I signed-offon the form and PAID the $550.00+ fee-partial cash I borrowed, and emptied out my debit card. They told me they'd have Tzuresults in 24-72hrs...I called the 3rd day, 4th day, etc. until they told me my samples had been lost(day after my daughter's gone back to Georgia). They said, hopefully it will popup somewhere. Every employee was shocked my samples were lost and said it had NEVER happened before. After about 2 weeks I called and asked about some sort of COMPENSATION. THE (MALE)OWNER OR MANAGER very nonchalantly offered me "twenty bucks". I never went back there, because I felt
extremely insulted for him to offer me $20 out of $550.00...maybe 2-3 days later they found my DNA and all is well in their eyes, but im very uncomfortable with this entire situation. I later found out that they did not properly stamp my samples for shipping reason it was lost in first place. So I'm not convinced they actually had my real results. Possible shady business going on. Idk
Mr. came in on June 6th for a paternity test. He paid $345.00 (NOT 550.00) which was for a legal/court admissible test document. All of our dna testing take 2-3 business days to report out. We explain this upfront before any payments have been made. We have never had a problem with results taking longer then 2-3 business days so when this situation came up it was a little confusing for us as well. It ended up being a Fed Ex issue. We conducted the test on 6-6 and his results were received 6 business days later, as opposed to 2-3 business days later. We had spoke with Mr. on several occasions and he indicated that "the women in his life" were treating him as if he was unable to conduct or handle his own business. We explained to him that since he paid for the test that only he would be given any information pertaining to the test, which he was relieved at. Several times a woman or women called for information on the test at which time, we explained that only the person who pays for the test can receive any information and that we had been in communication with Mr. and he was aware of the situation. They were not happy about that at all. When we offered Mr. the $20 it was simply to compensate for the extra 3 days it took for the results and $20 is the profit we make on the test.
