Thank you for forwarding the complaint to usWe strive for 100% customer satisfaction and we're sorry to hear about your experienceAfter investigating the incident we found that no wrong doing was done by the companyOur process requires each student to have their permit at the time they sign
up for classesThis way, at the time of registration for classes, we also schedule the in-car trainingThe student in this case did not have their permit at the time they signed up for classes--which is rarely the case with our studentsWe advised that we would not be able to schedule their in-car training until they obtain their permitWe also advised that they let us know as soon as the permit is available to ensure we schedule the training timely as slots for in-car classes fiquicklyThe student obtained his permit at the end of January but they did not notify us of this until May, which is the reason why in-car classes would have to be scheduled in AugustWe apologize about the inconvenience of not being able to reach us at the office during business hours; however, our line is available and accepts calls until 8p.m. dailywe listen to every voicemail and return calls within hours. In this case, we had not received any messages from the student/parent. In addition, we take the allowable amount that we're permitted per state law and do not exceed the number of students/classes permittedAgain, in this case, the student did not get their in-car scheduled at the time of registration because they did not have their permitHad they informed us of obtaining the permit in January, we would've been able to put them on the schedule for no later than March Also, our prices have not changed since last summerThe package has been set for $(not $249.00) and we have the receipt by which the student/parent paid this amount

I would like to try Mediation as a means of resolving the dispute

The response by Mr*** *** is clearly admitting that the Faith Driving School lacks the necessary driving teaching experience, risking our kids’ lives as they break the rules set by the State of Ohio, misleading the public and charging money without giving any service in returnHis response is also full of inaccurate information and contradictory statements, indicating deceitfulness
The Faith driving school web site shows this statement “We provide classroom lessons and behind the wheel instructions that meet Ohio State law requirements”I am showing here what the State of Ohio law says and comparing it with what Faith Driving School is teaching to our kidsIn his response Mr*** said “when we asked his wife to sign she was told that she only signing for her 8hrs that her daughter had done in the parking lot , not for driving in the city or highway yes we had kept teaching his daughter in the parking lot bec she has zero experience behind the wheel so we cant take any risk”. Here, Mr*** is clearly describing what the instructor taught to my daughter and admitting that the school failed to follow the State of Ohio Rules and Regulations; therefore, failed to teach my daughterThe law states that “the beginning driver must receive a minimum of eight hours, minutes of planned behind-the-wheel instruction from a certified/licensed instructorThe law designed those eight hours in well-planned ten lessons with certain objectives and time frame for each lessonThe law also stated that satisfactory performance should be achieved. Those lessons are published by the Ohio Public Safety Resource Sheet under “the Ohio driver training school curriculum” (Summarized below in this letter)In that resource sheet, it says “ With a practice to instruction ratio of two or three to one, the beginning driver should be able to satisfactorily accomplish all of the planned lesson objectives”Per Mr***’s above statement and his overall response, none of these lessons was taught to my daughter and most of them cannot be attained in a parking lot practiceAccording to Mr***’s above statement, he did break the rules twice; firs, when he did not follow the State of Ohio rules and regulations in teaching our kids through well planned driving lessons; second, when he issued a certificate of completion to my daughter without satisfactorily accomplishing the lessons that meet the State of Ohio law requirementsBy doing so, Mr*** is risking our kids’ lives and charging money without giving any service in return
Here, I will give only three evidence, from Mr***’s response, proving that the school and instructors are incompetent in teaching and do not follow the State of Ohio Rules and Regulations; therefore, risking our kids’ lives and misleading the public. 1) Per Mr***’s response when he talks about my daughter Third Drive, he said “when we told her to accelerate she would break”Please note that the first objective of lesson #1, set by Ohio Public Safety is “Vehicle Familiarization”His response clearly proves that the instructor did not follow the “Ohio driver training school curriculum” as he did not make my daughter familiar with the car during her first driving lessons It also proves that the in-class lessons were not taught properly as the first lesson the instructor must teach in class should deal with teaching the students about the car and vehicle familiarization2) Per Mr. ***’s first statement in this response and his overall response, the instructor did not teach the maneuverability to my daughter, which is required by the lawThe “Ohio driver training school curriculum” in the first lesson stats that time should be devoted to performing and practicing the maneuverability test3) Per Mr. ***’s first statement in this response and his overall response, he clearly stated that my daughter was not taught to drive within the city or highways. Again, according to the Ohio public safety resource sheet, driving school should teach students how to change lanes, how to negotiating multiple lane intersections, how to select a safe gap for crossing or entering traffic, how to enter and leaving flow of traffic, how to enter and exit expressways, and how to Interact with a larger number of highway users None of these were taught to my daughter and all of them cannot be attain in a parking lot practice
Mr*** is contradicting himself several times in his responseHere, I am giving two statements from his response for the sake of comparison and to prove contradiction and fraud. First, he said “It was explained at that time we take the student who doesn’t have experience to the parking lot for the first drive and explain the entire feature’s on a carAfterwards if we feel the student is ready we let them drive in the parking lot before taking them out to the street” Second, he said about my daughter first drive “The instructor came back to the school with the student once her drive was over and he told the office mgrthat she did not want to go out on the roads or drive in the neighborhood behind the school.” Upon comparing these two statements one can obviously conclude that 1) the instructor or Mr*** did not tell the truth as, per the first statement, the instructor was not supposed to ask my daughter to go out on the roads as he is clearly identifying her as a zero experience student; 2) the instructor did not teach my daughter “the entire features on a car” as he is saying here because he previously said when he talks about my daughter Third Drive, “when we told her to accelerate she would break” The contradiction in Mr***’s response clearly prove that the majority of his response is made up stories
Although other things that he mentioned in his response in regards to me yelling and threating him and he called the police on me are not true, trivial, and out of the context of my complaint against the school breaking the State of Ohio rules and risking our kids’ lives, I am asking him to present his school security camera tape and the police report to the courtI would also like to see his instructors lying under oath when the go to the court to witness that they saw me in the school yelling and threating

Mr***, if you really want to “Provide classroom lessons and behind the wheel instructions that meet Ohio State law requirements”, as you show in your school web site, please understand these ten lessons and teach them in your schoolGood Luck

Mr. [redacted] enrolled his daughter at Faith Driving
School on June 17, 2014.
[redacted] was enrolled for 24 hour...

class room training and 8 hour
of behind the wheel training.
We were explaining the contract to Mr. [redacted] and he told
our office manager that [redacted] has zero experience of driving a car. The student
has to have 50 hours of driving with a parent in order to get their license.
They fill out a form and have it notarized for the DMV. This is a requirement
of the Ohio Board. It was explained at that time we take the student who
doesn’t have experience to the parking lot for the first drive and explain the
entire feature’s on a car. Afterwards if we feel the student is ready we let
them drive in the parking lot before taking them out to the street.
First Drive we take them on the road. The student said no
that she was afraid and nervous to be on the road and did not want to go. So we
continue teaching her in the parking lot. The instructor came back to the
school with the student once her drive was over and he told the office mgr.
that she did not want to go out on the roads or drive in the neighborhood
behind the school.
On the second drive the instructor asked the student to
drive from the school to the neighborhood right behind the school. She refused
and wanted to stay in the parking lot. She stated that if she became confidence
with her driving then she would let the instructor take her to the
neighborhood. She wanted to stay in the parking lot for the entire time. So
there was no driving anywhere else.
Third Drive we asked her if she wanted to drive from the
school to the parking lot and she said no that I am still nervous to be out on
the road. So the instructor stayed in the parking lot with her for an hour
until she decided to go on to the neighborhood drive. Then the student drove
from the school to the neighborhood. When the drive was over the instructor
came back to the school and told our office mgr. that [redacted] had almost wrecked
the car more than seven times’s only doing 20 to 25 mph in the neighborhood.
She almost side swiped the cars parked on the right side of road. She could not
keep the car in a straight line, when we told her to accelerate she would
break. Mixing the two positions up several times.
While she is on the third drive that instructor told her
that he needed to talk with her parents so he could inform them of her
progress. She returned to the school and left right away with her parents and nobody
came in to the school so we could talk with them.
Fourth Drive, when she came in to the school no parent came
with her. So we could not talk to them about her driving. She was told to ask
them. [redacted] said after the drive they were coming in so our office mgr. could
talk with them about her driving. Once again she just left and nobody came in
to talk with us.
Ten days after she finished her in cars her dad came in to
the office saying our instructor did not take her to the street. He was
informed that we had asked several times for him to come in so we could talk
about her driving. Mr. [redacted] stated that [redacted] had told him this but he was
busy and didn’t have time to come in to the driving school and talk to us.
While the office mgr. was trying to explain things to him he
asked for his money back. We have a no refund policy. She did the 24 hours of
classroom training and the 8 hours of in car driving.
Mr. [redacted] stated that if he didn’t get his money back that
“you don’t know what I can do to you or the instructors” this was said in a threatening
way in front of the office mgr and two of our instructors. The office mgr asked
him to leave because he was threatening and yelling. He walked out through the
parking lot still yelling. While he was in the parking lot we called the
Hilliard Police. They arrived but Mr. [redacted] had left. The police advised us
that if he comes in again to call them. Two days later Mr. [redacted] called the
school saying that he wanted to talk with the owner. He was told that the owner
wasn’t around and that the office mgr was in charge and could handle any
complaints. Once again he threaten the office mgr. he continued to call the
school and threaten us. He called us racist and wanted his money back. The
office mgr. just hung up on him.
The father called the next day and he was informed that he
could pick up the certificate if he did not threaten us in any way. He came in
that day and signed the certificate. We did not charge him. As Mr. [redacted] was
leaving he turned around and told the office mgr. that he was going to sue him and
stated that he was coming after him.
According to his letter ,when we asked his wife to sign she
was told that she only signing for her 8hrs that her daughter had done in the
parking lot , not for driving in the city or highway yes we had kept teaching
his daughter in the parking lot bec she has zero experience behind the wheel so
we cant take any risk.
