Order Never Shipped - Scam / Theft - Do Not Buy From Them
It appears to be a scam / theft. I purchased an extender kit in mid January, 2024. I immediately received a UPS notification that my kit was preparing to ship. Over 60 days later and it still shows as "Preparing to Ship" (see attached screenshot). I emailed their customer service 5+ times over a 4 week period asking for a status update - with no response. I finally got crafty and emailed their sales team pretending to be a new buyer and asking if the kit was in stock, and they replied within 5 minutes saying yes the part is in stock and ready to ship. I replied to that email asking about my order and they replied saying it would be sent out asap. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing has changed, and they have since stopped replying to my emails. I am an understanding person, but I run my own business as well, and this is no way to run a business. The only explanation is that they are scamming people - I have no other evidence to the contrary - they stole my money.

my kit for a 2012 honda odyessey missing nuts washers rear seat bracket blocks spare tire door took over 3hrs to install they say 30 min nothing fit as should , contacted 3 times 4 time the got back to me and said if you have it in whats the problem really 300 dollars everything should be perfect, bunch of smucks

I have already returned a product to the company, requesting a full refund. They are in possession of the return but will not respond to my calls for a refund. I have left the business three voicemails, four emails, and have also initiated complaints regarding the delayed return to their (broken) online help chat, as well as my profile on their company site.

I ordered my product from Extend My Seat (EMS) 8/25. I have contacted Extend my Seat multiple times to find out the status of my order. The tracking number they provide continues to say it is processed and ready to be picked up by UPS. I have tweeted to EMS twice, with no response. I have chatted with Garland (at least twice) and Victor (once). They are part of the online chat customer service team. Garland promised that his supervisor would contact me directly. No response. Both promised to escalate my order to their expert, Griffin Cogorno. I received one email from Griffin asking for my order number. I provided it to him. I then waited. I responded 4 times to Griffin asking for the status of my order. No response. I then posted to facebook asking for the status of my order. EMS deleted my first comment. I then reposted. Still no response. It has been over a month. My last call with Victor says it was shipped, but the tracking number EMS provided still says it is processed ready for pickup by UPS.

EMS appears to be notorious for bad customer service. I want my product, and at least a partial refund on the product I ordered because I have spent way too much time trying to get EMS to help me. Show me proof my product is coming.

I purchased a set of driver and passenger side brackets on Feb 12, 2018, and paid $428.54. A shipping label was created on Feb 15, 2018, but the item was never shipped (UPS tracking ***). On May 22, I received an email stating "We are sorry for the delay. We are shipping out the drivers side today and we are still awaiting new inventory on the passenger side. Once available, we will ship them out to you." The company shipped only the driver side brackets, and I received them. I still have the driver side brackets in the original packaging and in the original shipping box.

On July 9, I received an email from the company stating "We will ship the passenger out tomorrow". The UPS tracking number given is ***, and the label was created, but the package was not shipped. To date, I have still not received the passenger side brackets.

I emailed the company for a status update on August 21st, contacted them through their website's chat feature Sept 10th (was told a Tier 2 team person would get back to me), again on Sept 15th, left a voice mail message after that, sent a text on Sept 16th, and another chat request on Sept 17th. I have received no response on any of these inquiries, but did receive a response to a sales inquiry on Sept 18th, to see if they replied to any incoming messages.

On 8/13/18, I placed an order for two sets of seat brackets (one set for the driver's seat, and another set for the passenger's seat). However, only one set (for the passenger's seat) was delivered. I have sent messages to the company via the account with them that I have on their website, I have sent a message to the company on their FaceBook site, I have posted a request on their FaceBook site, I have sent a text message to the company as mentioned on their website, and I have chatted with a member of their customer service support. To date, I have neither received the missing bracket set, nor have I received any communication from the company. Additionally, I cannot find a phone number to call the company directly.

In August of 2018, I submitted complaint #***. This issue was resolved yesterday (I received the missing portion of my order from them).However, I cannot seem to open the complaint to report it closed. Can you help me with reporting this complaint as "Resolved"?

On June 12, 2018, I ordered one front passenger seat bracket, after problems with their website forced me to use Paypal (their suggestion). I was given a delivery date of June 18. On 6/14, I asked, if I could receive 15% off from emailed coupon and they replied no. On 6/19, I emailed that I had not received part. Received no reply. On 6/22, I emailed again asking status, reply email said awaiting new inventory. On JULY 18, I again asked status and received no answer. As of today (8/6/18), I have still not received any communication or part. I've tried to find a phone number to call and was unable to.

ExtendMySeat Response

Client was notified that half the order was not in stock and client agreed to wait for the second half of the order. We multiple times emailed the client about the timeline and was able to ship out the second half of the order. The client has received the complete order in full.
