I am writing on
behalf of Kernersville Chrysler Dodge, LLC, in response to a complaint brought
by the Revdex.com for Linwood Carver, submitted on 7/7/2015, and
assigned an ID of ***.Mr. *** purchased the jeep from us and we have shown a lack of communication towards him,
but as we were working on his paperwork we saw some mistakes on his part that has made this process slow and difficultOne of them was his failure to tell us that one of the vehicles still had a lease on it and had not paid the taxes on it, this is a problem with the DMV on West Virginia that does not give him credit on those taxesHe also failed to provide a title for the Trike that he also traded in, this made it difficult for us to continue the paperworkHe has also been contacted by several of our managers and has shown a will to work with us, but once again the problem is with the DMV ON WEST VIRGINIA TO WHOM HE OWES THOSE TAXES TO. but
in view of the fact that we have done everything within our power to help the customer, we ask that this complaint be closed satisfactorily and cease to
affect our rating

HI Joanna,Sorry for delay reply but here is the reply from management. This customer brought in car damaged from his attempt to repair his own car He spoke directly to the tech and was given to options of repairs both a 50/shot based on current visual damage He cmdecided to
gamble on the lower repair hoping no other damage was done due to his socket being left in the timing belt Unfortunately he had done more damage The customer decided on the repair route to be taken after taking with tech In very sorry the lower price gamble did not work but it was his choice. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: The seat belt remained broken for a week; it was NOT fixed the same day it was brought to their attentionI was not provided service records of ANY type, so I certainly did not accept themThe radiator was NOT fixed by the dealershipI had it replaced elsewhereI did not claim to speak to the ownerI said the owner was present (in the seat immediately to Mr***s left). Mr*** and Mr*** only, was most definitrly rude and unprofessional.

awaiting the decision of our general manager to give him a definite answer. We want to apologize for such a slow response, but we been having some construction done to our lots and is making communication a bit difficult. We are trying to resolve this case with top priority.

that time, we replaced the ball joints on the vehicle and issued a 2 year warranty to cover the parts. When they contacted us about the issue with the vehicle recently, they spoke directly to our Service Manager, John P[redacted]. He set them up with Empire Chrysler Dodge Jeep to have the work done. He contacted Empire directly to advise them of the situation with Mrs. [redacted]’s truck and have covered all of the repairs under the warranty they were issued when we replaced the ball joints the first time. We ask that this complaint be closed satisfactorily and cease to affect our rating.

ordeal he has gone through.However, she has spoken with a Sales manager (Jerry), a Service Manager (John) and her situation has been discussed with the General Manager, Blake Mitchell. Blake is the manager that makes these decisions and the only resolution we are able to offer was to trade her out of her current vehicle and into another one, which she declined. Since that was the only resolution we are able to offer and she declined it.In
view of the fact that we are actively seeking to completely satisfy this
customer we ask that this complaint be closed satisfactorily and cease to
affect our rating.

and were asked to expedite the process. I will contact the General Manager and see if I can obtain that apology email, since Mr.[redacted] is currently on vacation. Once again we would like to deeply apologize for the lack of communication we have had. in
view of the fact that we are actively seeking to completely satisfy this

First, on all used vehicles at the point of purchase we put 10 gallons in each one.  The seat belt was found to be inoperable, and was repaired immediately by our truck shop. Any seat belt issue is a main safety concern and after seeing the rear belt would not latch properly, our technician...

fixed the same day.  Mr. [redacted] did bring his vehicle in a month later after the fact again for his dipstick issue along with the radiator which we fixed at no cost to Mr. [redacted].  We explained to him that his truck was fully serviced and provided him with records reflecting so, which he accepted.  Mr. [redacted] called and spoke with our Sales Manager, and the manager simply told him there was no way to void the sale, over a month after the purchase date. Mr. [redacted] went over all his options to try and assist Mr. [redacted] with the issues he was having and what the store could do to assist Mr. [redacted].  At no point in time was anyone rude with Mr. [redacted], and he was also given the opportunity to purchase a service contract at his time of purchase, and was presented the option again to purchase a service contract, at cost, when he called addressing his concerns. Mr. [redacted] at no point ever contacted our owner, nor has spoken to him.  All of his issues and concerns were dealt with by Service and Sales Managers at our location.

Hi,Mr [redacted] bought a used truck from us and did have an issue after he bought it. His warranty would not cover the issue which was a $1700 fix to which we agreed Mr [redacted] would only pay $500. After he had been in possession of the truck over 30 days and had driven over 1000 Miles.  Mr [redacted]...

then called back again stating his key and heat did not work. He brought his truck in, declined on purchasing a new truck saying he simply wasn’t satisfied after we were giving him the value back he had paid for his truck. Mr [redacted] was shown how to work the heat properly, and we told him we would cover the cost of a new key if he would get it programmed at his nearby store since he is out of town. He accepted that, and out of good will we cut him a check for $250 and mailed it to him.  We have communicated with Mr. [redacted]  figures for both buying his truck back from him, or if he choose to trade it in on a different vehicle. Thank youJoseph [redacted]
