I ordered an electric skateboard for my son in August. After waiting over a month to receive it, it finally arrived, but was defective. The company wanted me to send in videos showing it didn't work. After emailing back and forth for over 2 weeks trying to show them the board does not work, they agreed to send another part to me in the mail and have me repair the board. I did not feel like I should be the one to have to repair a defective product, so I just asked for a refund and a way to send the board back to them. They advised that they do not allow refunds. So, I am awaiting the new part (no telling how long that will take to arrive) and then I will have to repair a skateboard that I paid almost $300 for and has never worked. If I am being required to work on the board, I should at least get some kind of discount. Not happy at all. Terrible customer service.

we hope you have. had a good weekend, Please note the procedure for repairing an e-board is often quite simple and we can provide tutorial videos and a step-by-step instruction list on how to do this. It is often a faster procedure than sending the skateboard back for repairs then back to you again, as normally their remote diagnosis will fix the. issue. Never do business with this company! I have worked in e-commerce for five years and I have never seen a company that could just care less about the product and their customers. Bought this as a present for my husband two weeks before father's day. Not only was the tracking useless but customer service was no help. Just kept saying it was on its way. Finally showed up the second week of August and the box was a mess. Worse part was not the bent brake pad, warped fork, but the electrical line to the motor had been severed rendering the bike useless. After a month of trying to get this resolved, the electric boarding company ignoring us, the manufacturer saying they would ship a replacement multiple times and not our charge back with the bank was finally awarded. Magically they finally got back to us asking us to remove the charge back as the manufacturer sent a replacement. Well the manufacturer sent a rim with no tire, brakes, or tubing and suggested we pay to have a third party install it on the bike. WHAT A JOKE! I will not be reversing my charge back. The product, company, service are a nightmare and all they care about is getting your money and running.

I ordered an electric bike from EBC June 16, 2020 knowing that it wouldn't ship until sometime in July 2020. It never shipped and have never received!
I ordered an electric bike from EBC June 16, 2020 for my husband for Father's Day knowing that it wouldn't ship until sometime in July 2020. It never shipped and I have never received it to this day September 16, 2020! I have emailed and called EBC several times and they kept promising it would be shipped soon, within 10 days. They said shipping delays due to Covid. Every time I call there is never anyone to physically take the call and every time I email they follow up days later with an excuse. I asked several times for them to cancel my order and issue a refund. Finally on August 31, 2020 I get a response, someone named "Erin", that they understand my concerns and will cancel my order and issue a full refund which will take 5 to 7 days. To this day I have still not received a refund! I call and still cannot physically speak to anyone and I emailed "Erin" again asking where my refund is and the response is "they'll check and see what's going on and get back to me soon". I'm not too sure about that! Since when in this country do you pay for something, $1199.00, a lot of money and not receive your product and not get a refund? Isn't that theft and considered a criminal act? I would like my refund! Period!

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund otherwise I will seek legal action since this is now considered theft and a criminal act.

As you would have read in our terms of service, all refunds have to be "approved" by the "other source" which in this case is nakto bikes, we are an online reseller for them and all orders go through them. We will speak to nakto and get this refund issues within 48 hours for you and have the tracking number cancelled. Refund notifications may take a day or 2 to come through just so you know. Apologies for any inconvenience on nakto's behalf also.

Miraculously 2 days after my complaint my refund was issued. Too bad it had to come to that but I'm thankful for the Revdex.com in cases like this.

Hello, it's been almost two months since placing my order for my board. Not only did I have a horrible time with customer service and their level of unprofessionalism is truly appalling. Taylor Ebc, was one of the most unprofessional people I've ever had to deal with. I was told I would finally receive a tracking number in the next few days. Even though it was stated when I ordered my board that it would take a max of 55 days. This company is a scam and unethical and I hope the Revdex.com can get a handle on this and shut them down. Sadly there are hundreds of fellow people like me in a similar situation, who are also being ignored.

Side note: I find it funny how one of the only 5 star reviews is from a person named Taylor. The same name as the person I spoke to from their customer service department. And how the response from the company was "thanks for the help" seeing how the 5 star review can maybe potentially cover up the other 1 stars! Again another extremely unethical practice.

Ordered an Electric Bike on 07/02/2020 from this company. Have received no product/follow-up to this date. Account *** - We want our money back!!
When we placed our order for an electric bike and paid $1,004.73, we expected to receive our bike before the end of July, 2020, as we were told. We followed up at the first week of August, as we received a copy of a shipping label that was printed up for tracking purposes. As of this date, there has been no shipping statuses noted from that point. When we followed back up with Electric Boarding to see when our product was shipping on a few separate occasions, there reply was that the bike was scheduling to ship out the following week, but this was a lie.
What makes this company look so bad, as they have not sent correspondence directly to the customers with a status, or come clean with the situation, nor have they offered to refund our money. We are seeking to have our money refunded immediately. You need to stand up and represent your company! Stop hiding.

Please see that the product you ordered is out for delivery today and will be arriving at your property in a matter of hours. We strongly recommend someone be present at the delivery location when the package arrives.

I received an electric bicycle damaged and without proper instructions for assembly. I emailed & called requesting a return , no followed through.

I received my electric bicycle from the Electric boarding company around July 7, 2020. I could not put the bicycle together as it did not have proper instructions (older model than the instructions provided) and all the youtube videos were for the newer model. I emailed the company on the July 9, 2020 (***@electricboardingco.com)and explained the situation and that I had not received the basket and the front fender arrived bent. I also sent photos. No reply, I phoned three times and left messages once. I emailed again on july 12, 2020:

"I keep calling and emailing. I'm returning this bike. It's not safe to ride. The handle bars do not attach properly and the bicycle throttle is way too sensitive.. it is a hazard. I have repackaged the bicycle. I just need a ups slip to ship it back.

Pleasant and easy ordering. Had no issues. There are delays, but that is to be expected right now with Covid-19. Overall, I am very happy with my order and the customer service.

It is coming up on 5 weeks since my son placed an order. He has tried to contact the company by email and several times by phone. No response.
My 13 year old son used his birthday money to purchase a $339.99 electric longboard on 7/23/20 from your company. He has been checking the porch daily for weeks. He has called several times, left messages and emailed 4 times to inquire about his board and seek tracking information. And he has not received a single response from your company. This was a lot of money for him. And this is beginning to feel like a scam at this point. If not, it's the absolute worst customer service ever. My son was in tears tonight because of the lack of response. He has lost faith in the validity of this company.

Please note that the electric longboard you have ordered is currently "in transit" and scheduled for delivery in the next working day. As you can see on our shipping page and also directly next to the add to cart button, the model that your son ordered was "standard shipping" and comes from overseas, and has a 35 day estimated delivered ate before any potential delays. The board is on track as scheduled and shall be delivered shortly.

RECEIVED DEFECTIVE ITEM AND SEEKING RESOLUTION/RETURN
Order 3898 Purchased on 5/16 for a grand total of $951.23. I purchased on their website from a Facebook ad I saw. I was looking for a new mountain bike and their electric bike looked pretty darn cool. I made the order and within a few days I was emailed by Andrew (***@electricboardingco.com) that said due to covid delays they were backordered on bikes but to make good on the transaction they would provide the bike as soon as possible AND provide a rear smart bike light ($60-70 value) as a thank you for the order. COOL! Except it wasn't I didn't receive the bike until August 19. Which was frustrating due to the lack of communication but hey it is COVID and I understood that it wasn't their issue with regards to supply chain. I took the bike out of the box on August 20 and realized immediately that there appears to be a bolt/fastener missing to attached the fender and headlamp to the frame and there was aa hunk missing out of the rear fender (damaged in shipping) AND the electric battery on the electric bike isn't functioning. I have wrote and called every day since August 20th, including but not limited to Emails, Facebook messenger, attempted phone calls which only get met with a voicemail. I EVEN offered to drive 2 hours from my house to their Tampa location and swap out bikes so I could resolve the issue faster! They are not attempting to address the issue and they refuse to call me! I just want to send it back and get a full refund.

Purchase made 6/14. Ups label issued 6/26 No bike to speak of yet. 22 emails with the same answer the bike will ship in a couple days want my bike.
Ordered a natko fat tire electric bike for $949 on 6/14 with a delivery date of 6/26. Order #***. There was a UPS shipping tag issued tracking# ***. Erin at electric boarding company has replied to my emails with lies and false information. I have contacted her 22 times and each time received the same answer the bike is scheduled to ship by the end of the week. So my bike that I was supposed to receive at the end of June is now supposedly arriving the beginning of September. Yeah right. As for their refund policy that they claim they have and that they contact and update customers...another big fat lie. I have had to contact them and have requested numerous times for my money back and have not been offered anything other than a $25 credit...like I would waste my time buying from them again.

I want my bike or my money returned in full. I would also like to see this company go under. Clearly they have no idea how to run a business.

This company knowingly sells defective and dangerous products, refuses to communicate in any way after sale and is a complete scam! Check out the Facebook posts for more info! They straight up robbed me for $1700 for a doa product that they then charged me $120 saying they would send parts to repair it and never sent anything and stopped communicating after that. If anyone is interested in a civil suit please contact me.

All customers are requested to provide videos and cooperate to the be given the chance to get the required parts out to fix any manufacturers defects within the warranty period. Although we remain an online intermediary, we are often a better form of communication time zone wise as a lot of the brands, including your purchased products come from overseas (in this case China). When ever I email mail regarding questions on ky bike I always get the same answer ( that is when they decide to respond .which isn't much )so I email them daily (since nobody ever answers their phone) about a refund and they just refuse to respond to any of my emails . The delays on e-bikes are cross industry at the moment with the products being the most desired during COVID 19. The skylark you chose has been submitted however and will be shipping to your address when the next batch of skylarks ships. I purchased a bike on May 17 for $899, and I was notified that their would be a 2 week delay. it didn't come in that time and they wouldn't refund me.
They refused to honor their own refund policy, that stated if an item never shipped the customer can get a refund. it took 4 months for the bike to arrive, and they REFUSED to refund me. and now that I finally got the bike, it does not work! it only pedals as a regular bikeits supposed to be an electric bike.

the bike was FINALLY delivered, FAR past the delivery date is a lemon. i want them to take it back and refund my money. they shouldve refunded it much earlier.

Wow....I placed an order for a backfire mini on 08/20/20. I received an email shortly after with an order number and a thank you for your purchase. There was no information about shipping whatsoever. On 08/24 I went looking for an email with some shipping info and didn't see any. I then realized I should have bought this directly through Backfire not a 3rd party. So I called the manufacturer directly. After talking with a backfire rep directly he informed me that Electric Boarding Company had not even placed my order through them yet!! He went on to tell me the Backfire mini board was actually back ordered for a month. I called Electric Boarding Company to cancel my order and Taylor was so rude to me. She talked over me the whole time and when I tried to ask questions she said. I'm having my supervisor call you" After asking her to just please cancel my order she said I would have to send an email and hung up on me. Nobody ever called me back. All I wanted to do was cancel an order that has not been shipped. I have learned through the Revdex.com that this is just a drop shipping operation and the business is run out of an apartment. Most likely when I asked her to cancel the order she could have just done it right then and there. This company will actually go out of there own way to make your life miserable.

Me and my wife have and still are waiting 4 months to get our Nakto Cruisers. EBC is blaming Nakto and they aren't shipping our bikes. BEWARE.

Delay on a cancellation process for a pre-order item
I had Preordered July item,NAKTO Skylark Folding Electric Bicycle, purchased on June 29, 2020 with expectations of receiving it by latest second week of August. Emails were exchanged between Customer Support (Erin) and I regarding status of the order *** ElectricboardingCo never had an actual response when the item would arrive and continue to share that they will provide updates. Updates never occurred unless I called the company directly or emailed. Customer Rep Taylor, continue to inform that updates would be provided by Erin. I quickly noticed a pattern of inconsistency and decided to cancel the *** The company requires 10% cancellation fee, which I was okay to pay with and agreed to move forward. No response from Erin since August 12, 2020 regarding the cancellation process. I would continue to call the company directly with information regarding their high volume of orders and that they will get back to me via email. Today, August 17th, 2020, spoke with Customer Rep Taylor again with high concerns and frustrations. Customer Rep Taylor continues to share that cancellation fees should be emailed to Erin. I emailed Erin again regarding these concerns and I have not received a response

Problems with amount charged and product was not delivered.
I ordered a board and before they could ship the next day I changed the model it was a $100 cheaper they said I would have it within 25 to 35 days it has been 2 months and I still do not have a delivery tracking number not only that when I called my credit card company they had never lowered the charge amount they were still trying to charge me $829 when they should have been charging me $639.

At this point I just want my money back and I will never do business with this company again they lied about their delivery times they did not adjust my billing amount in their customer service is garbage.

Thanks for contacting us. the product you ordered comes from overseas and the "standard" shipping process you ordered is the same across all brands that come from China by sea. Products are boarded the ship and have to transit across the pacific before clearing customs in CA, at which point the board will be picked up by the courier. Once the board is in transit we cannot return it, per legal policy. We do encourage buyers to ask us what boards are shipping faster to help them make a better decision. I can see your product is scheduled to arrive on your doorstep inn a couple days.

Their advertisements at 25 to 35 days it has been over 2 months now I am tired of waiting I want my money refunded. And they did not even addressed the problem of charging me $829 when it was supposed to be $639. If you look through the files I attached you should see the one with the billing statement I'm sorry about the other files I was not quite sure what I was doing. This company has been giving me the run around they will not answer my emails and only when I contacted the Revdex.com did they start to respond this is unacceptable I have spent the whole summer waiting for this board.
