Review: My elderly mother took car in ...2010 ford escape... at Ed's service station for an oil change and lube... mechanic said to her car needed front end repaired which added to close to 560.00. The Ford Escape has very low mileage and its been driven by my mother since new out of dealership. I understand its too late for a refund she agreed for the repairs out of fear of a future accident before speaking with me or anyone else in my family. I went down to quickly stop the work and demand for a oil change only but they told me work was done ...??? this all took place within a 45 minute window. quick service eh?.The mechanic(s) of Ed's Service Station on [redacted] took advantage of an elderly woman and her ignorance when it comes to auto repairs and what not. Ed's Service Station employ shifty characters and this should be known.Desired Settlement: A refund would be optimal but getting the word out about there dishonest work ethic is fulfilling for now.

Revdex.com ,I am contacting you on this complaint , obviously someone did not get the explanation of the work recommended ,The bill was not $560.00 it was 493.00 plus tax ,that was with 10% discount if you check around my prices are very competitive. Second there was no front end work done. I have been servicing the car since new & this is the first repair bill or any recommended work . The car was found to have a clogged air filter & a gummed up throttle plate , we did a 3 part fuel service which is todays tune up it cleans the plugs , fuel system & sensors no parts replaced except air filter $149 less 10%, very cheap. That is good service & a needed maintenance . Also the r/r shock was found to be leaking & we replaced the 2 rear shocks in a pair. The rear brakes were taken apart , cleaned & adjusted . There is 28,000 miles on this vehicle the brakes were out of adjustment & did nothing as far as helping to stop the car , causing the front brakes to take on the full load. This was a minor service well needed . We also did an oil change ,checked over all fluids , tires ,very thoroughly . GOOD SERVICE! That's all I have ! Also this is the first I've heard of this complaint , she' s been coming here for 50
years . IF I WAS TOLD THEY WERE NOT SATISFIED I WOULD HAVE ADDRESSED IT IMMEDIATLY.
Who is the beautiful girl that works there?! Inquiring minds need to know lol
