Review: To whom it may concern [redacted] had a contract/agreement E. Developers LLC to perform construction on the building doing the following:1. Demolish and remove existing entry including glass cases.2. Install staircase and separate entry on left front of building.3. Install one entry door on bottom and at top of stairs.4. Install new front with tempered glass.5. Install new lightweight slab sloped to sidewalk.6. Install new PSL to existing floor joists on second floor.7. Install new sign.8. Install new remote roll gate with separate entry for upstairs.9. Install Five new windows on front of building.10. Stucco mid section of building.11. Install firewalls near stairs.They started in July, 2012. Out of the 11 things he had to do, he didn't do number 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. That is over half the things he was supposed to do. We paid him a little shy of $30,000 when the total was $38,500 that we owed him. From all the money we gave him he said he had gave a deposit for a new sign, new gate, new tempered glass doors, and five windows. After him ignoring us for over a week and the job getting shut down he started demanding more money then the contract stated and refused to work otherwise. Due to the fact that our business was shut down during the construction operation we had to find other contractors to finish up the work that he started. We had to pay to order a new sign, stucco for the whole front, five windows, new gate, tempered glass, and finish all the construction that they didn't finish. Also we had to go through final inspections on our own with the city of Trenton. To finalize our work and get the C/O from the city of Trenton everything cost us an extra $25,500. Once you take the $8,500 that we owed him from the $25,500 that we had to pay it comes out to $17,000 that he owes us. He kept saying that he was slowly going to start paying us but has done everything to avoid me I'm tired of this, please help me finalize this problem.Desired Settlement: We want to get paid what is owed to us after a year of being promised to get our money then being ignored and also so this doesn't happen to anyone else. It is only what is fair. We our not asking for any more then what is owed for all the hassle and headache we've went through with this company, we only want what is rightfully ours.
