E Business Financial Reviews (3)

Review: A few months ago, I opened an internet business and have spent over $8,000.

Last week, I received a strange call from a broker company (E Business Financial - out of [redacted]) stating that my internet business domain was sold and the profit was over $26,000. They asked how much I had spent on opening the business and I mentioned approximately $8,000.

The person ([redacted]) stated that in order for them to sen d me a check of the domain sales profit they received, I must send them a $4,200 check (i.e., 1 8% of the profits from the domain sales). Once they receive the $4,200 from me, the brokerage firm would, in turn, send me a check for the balance of +$20k from the domain sale. He stated that if I did not send them the monies, they (the broker) will stay with all the profit of the domain selling which was +$26,000.

This is a questioning business deal of where my profit monies has gone if it's true that my internet domain was sold. If it is not true, this scam is unethical calling as a "brokerage" firm while trying to take monies from people like myself who have in vested in an internet business and are slowly making it grow.Desired Settlement: I f the call was ethical and true, I am requesting the brokerage firm to explain to me why they cannot send me the +$20k profit via a check and they stay with the $4,200 they are charging me for the profits made from the sale. If the call is a scam, please note information regarding t hat firm that they gave me via the phone when I spoke to them.

Review: May 14, 2013 [redacted] calls me saying he is with EBusiness Financial and they have sold a website which was in my name and it sold for $29,000. And I have to pay the auction house fees before I can get the money. He also sent me a link to the auction house with the list of the websites that sold and how much it sold for. Mine was #29 of the list. He charged $3800, to my [redacted] and said he will send my check by certified mail. Did not hear from him for weeks and never got a check. He finally called back and said I had to send another $3400, to cover the rest of the fees. I had to get a cash advance from my Visa and send them a check for $3400 on July 2, 3013. I never got the $29,000, or another call from [redacted].Mid-March 2014 I get a call from a [redacted], Says he is customer service rep with EBusiness Financial and they sold a website and it sold for $25000. All I have to do is pay the auction fees which are $5K. I told him I did not have that kind of money, he asked if I had $2500 and he could send me half of the check and then I could send the other half. (Let me interject here and say that my 61 yr old brain had totally deleted the crap I went through with [redacted] in 2013. All I can think of is what I could do with the extra money.) I sent a check for $2500 on March 29, 2014. I did not get the check that he swore would cross in the mail. I send it certified and they would send mine to me certified. Never got it. [redacted] calls me again, this time says another website sold and the two together would be a total of $63,600. I told him to send the first check, he never sent.Cant do that he says, because the auction house combined the checks. I tell him to give back what I had already sent, cant do that he says. I am getting very frustrated by this time, I want my money back and I want that big check. [redacted] again calls and says that all I now owe is $4800. Send it on April 21, 2014.[redacted] is no longer, now its [redacted]. sent $1000 on May 30, 2014Desired Settlement: I want all my fees returned $20,750 and I want that check for $63,600.

Review: The company promised certain results for a stated amount of money. After this was paid the company advised that an additiona payment was required to complete the transaction.

I did not want to spend any more than I already had and told the company to send me a check to refund my payment. Numerous phone calls regarding a refund were made with non specific responses. The last phone conversation with the company that I initiated, I was told they would get back to me. That was two weeks ago with no return call. I am beginning to suspect that they have run a scam on me.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund of the amount I paid them ASAP>
