This matter was handled appropriately by my self personallyEverything this customer is saying in the complaint is a complete lieI went to his house personally and told him that I would investigate the problem and if it was leaking because of my workmanship I would fix it for free even though it was almost a year over warrantyI also told him that if it wasn't my workmanship that caused the leak I would fix it for $The pipe and fitting which he is speaking of had glue but was broke buy the company he chose to call to fix itThe contractors board was notified by both the client and myselfWhen I spoke with the investigator he told me not only did I handle it appropriately but went over and above what I need to doJust for the record I do drive a new truck which I work very hard forIn seven years of being in business this is the first person that has complained about my workmanshipSincerly [redacted]

The repair was done while the house was in escrow I bought the house and the selling agent, Sellstate, Reality, in Rocklin Ca entered into the contract with E & C Innovations to fix the waterline Even though I don't have the contract the law states the workmanship is covered for four years Like I said before, I am waiting for the final report from the Ca State Contractors Board and will share so you can post so no one else will be ripped off If you read his response statement it does not make sense To show he is lying attached is a text along with his business card showing it came from his employee stating they are too busy to repair the work Also, attached is the invoice from the contractor who repaired the line stating it was leaking where once repaired I don't expect [redacted] to stand by his work I just want to make sure he does not rip anyone else off

I am rejecting this response because he is lying again.  I meet with the investigators from the Ca Contractors Board last week about the issue and provided additional evidence.  They will be contacting him again since its a formal investigation now.  I have cc'd the investigator [redacted] handling the complaint.  Like I said before I will provide a copy of the investigation report for all to see once completed to truly show what happened.

was almost a year over warranty. I also told him that if it wasn't my workmanship that caused the leak I would fix it for $650.00. The pipe and fitting which he is speaking of had glue but was broke buy the company he chose to call to fix it. The contractors board was notified by both the client and myself. When I spoke with the investigator he told me not only did I handle it appropriately but went over and above what I need to do. Just for the record I do drive a new truck which I work very hard for. Review: E & C Innovations repaired a my waterline during escrow in Nov/Dec of 2012. In Sept of 2014 it was discovered the waterline was leaking again. I contacted E & C Innovations to come and inspect the issue. He declined to take on the work or recommend anybody. I had another contract do the work and found E & C Innovations never repaired the waterline correctly. He didnt use glue to hold the waterline together, the waterline was going to fail no matter what. He caused the water leak. When contacted he agreed in front of a witness to cover the cost of the repairs. He lied and never did saying he didnt have the money even thought he is driving a brand new truck. I have reported him the the Ca State Contractors Board for faulty workmanship.Desired Settlement: Pay me for the cost of the repairs of $1200 as he agreed.
