DURBIN HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING Countrytrace Court Cincinnati, Ohio (513) 598-84.49*** *** May 1,E 4" Suite 600Cincinnati, Oh 45202***,*** *** contacted Durbin Heating and Cooling July 5, saying that her rental property had no air conditioning, Miss *** was
told at that time the fee for a service call was $she agreed to an appointment for the following dayThe service technician had to disassemble a bar that was partially blocking the front of the furnace before he could diagnose the problemIt was found at the time of inspection that the blower motor would not startA message was left on her voice mail to inform Miss *** the part was under warranty, but she would be responsible for the laborAt that time we ordered the part and told her it would be $out of pocket or more if other things were found wrong once the new part was installed and furnace was started. We never heard back from her to give us the ok to perform the repair, so an invoice for the service call was sent to her in the amount of SStarting in August and for the next months Miss *** was sent a reminder letter to pay her bill we never heard from herStarting with November's bill a 2% late fee was addedWe sent her to collections in April of because of her failure to respond to usMiss *** then called in April refusing to pay the bill because she said "we didn't do anything" at which time explained to her that she had to pay for the service call, diagnoses and inspection of the furnace.Respectfully,Brent Durbin

Unfortunately as I stated my letter this is not how it happened. I did not hear for them from for 2 days. So after not hearing for 2 days I went ahead and called Another Place who went out there fixed it the same day. When they did call back they did leave a voicemail stating that the part would be under warranty but it would take a week to get in at this point before the air conditioning was already fixed and I don't believe that I should have paid $90 for a service call when they didn't even call me back for 2 days. Mr. Durbin is making it sound as if they went out made the service call promptly called me back and like I said that's not how it happened it was a few days before I even heard from them I don't think this is good business practice or good service and if I remember correctly it may have even been more than two days possibly 3 but I know it was at least two days before I heard back from them
