To Whom It May Concern:
This is concerning the ID complaint of [redacted]. ...
First of all, [redacted] services ONLY pay for extractions. There is no [redacted] dental insurance for adults. We are not a recipient of [redacted] or [redacted]. We would never have discussed any payment for either of these two. Secondly, the dentists doesn’t discuss fees, the treatment coordinator does. The insurance was verified, and she was a participate in this insurance. This is a very low paying insurance that has only been offered for a short time. There are several levels, and she just happens to have a very low level. We have other persons with this insurance that have the higher paying level. We do understand that dentistry is expensive. We are not a dental clinic, and we charge every person the same amount. We file many different insurances, but the difference between what the company pays and doesn’t pay is the responsibility of the patient. Mrs. [redacted] was definitely aware of this. My question is….when she goes to the grocery store, does she expect to pay less because she is on a tight budget? We regret that Mrs. [redacted] is unhappy because we didn’t give her free dentistry. Evidently, that is what she wanted. Even if she had the higher premium, deductibles and co-pays are still a part of that. Dr. Satterfield has been in practice for 42 years, since 1974, and maintains a high quality of care for his patients. His son is also in this practice, with 13 years of service. I believe this is the first time anybody has complained to the Revdex.com. Again, we regret that Mrs. [redacted] is unhappy, but we maintain that we followed normal protocol.
