"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal">They are saying that they made the dress to the measurements I gave them but they used the measurements for the wrong thingThe one measurement was to the floor and they made the dress that length but they were supposed to make it calf-length as in the picture-not to the floorI have a picture of the dress as they portrayed it and a picture of the one they made and it is nothing like the pictureIt was also supposed to be made of stretch satin and it was not stretchy at allIt was made of taffetaAlso the whole dress was too tight and short waisted so they didn't make the dress correctly according to those measurments eitherThe whole point of ordering a dress to your measurements is that it will fitThis dress was completely unwearable as they made it and they refuse to correct it or refundThey say they did nothing wrong

They sent me a email stating that they have put too much time and labor into making my dress and because of the cost of wages it wouldn't be profitable to give me a refund or exchange, they said the best that they can do, is put a 10% credit towards any future purchaseThis is not a acceptable outcome to this purchase on my part and I am completely dissatisfied with this company and believe that they should be removed from the web.

So, I contacted my credit card company, I filled a dispute with them and they credited my account temporary until they investigate. my resolution at this point is to return the dress. Dresssale.com provided me with a return address and I'll be shipping the dress on Monday January [redacted]. Another note I would like to add to this complaint. I read from other people that bought dresses from Dresssale.com that the nightmare of dealing with Dresssale.com doesn't end even when the dress is returned because they contest that they never receive the return item. I'll have copies of the tracking number and receipt for the shipped item.This is the reason I decided to choose the option that my complaint is not resolved. Review: I purchased a dress from this company and when I received my dress it was clearly too small. I notified the company that the dress was not made correctly and that I wanted the return address and information to return the dress, they refused to help me and told me to take it to a tailor to fix it, it is impossible to alter a dress that is too small to begin with and I don't want to add spend any additional money on a dress that is completely unsatisfactory.Desired Settlement: I want this company to honor their satisfaction guaranteed statement on their website or admit that all sales are final even if the dress was made incorrectly.

Review: I ordered a dress that was promised to be made to my measurements to look like the picture. It was a calf-length dress in the picture. When I received the dress it was at least a foot too long-it puddled on the floor! And it was too tight to be wearable. They will not return it. Their policy is no returns on custom measurements but it is assumed by the customer that it will look like the picture and fit reasonably well! They can't give you a dress that is not like the picture, over a foot too long and is unwearable and not make that right! They asked for a lot of measurements-one of which was the hollow to floor which I gave them-52". But they did not ask for the measurement from hollow to hem! They made it floor length and they say because they confirmed that measurement that they did nothing wrong but that was not the hem measurement! It is their job to know how to make a calf length dress and that you don't use the floor measurement to make a calf length dress!Desired Settlement: Refund for this unwearable dress.

Review: I ordered a formal dress from dresssale.com. The dress was the wrong size and also wasn't completed. It was missing the clasps to keep the dress on. The company has refused to give me a refund. They asked for pictures of the problems which I happily sent them. Review: I purchased 2 dresses from this company. First they charged me $42.00 for 3-5 day shipping which did not happen it took 17 day to get them. Then they were both defective. Both had parts that had not been sewn properly so the stitching came apart. One dress was different from what I ordered and the chest on both were too close together. I sent serveral emails requesting an address so I could return these dresses for a refund and they refused. Told me that the dresses were 90% correct and at first offered $10 then $15 to settle my complaint. They also keep telling me that it is very expensive to send a product to China and thats where these dresses would have to go. I have 15 emails requesting a refund and them giving me the run around. I emailed them and sent pictures the same day I received the dresses and they have continually made excuses.Desired Settlement: I would like to return these defective dresses for a full refund

Review: I ordered a wedding dress from them and when it came in, the under pinning was cut incorrectly which caused it to bunch up all the way up the zipper as well as made the dress snug on one side and it hangs way down on the other side. I took it to several other seamstresses but the only way to fix it is to have the entire skirt remade because the material has been cut "biased" and too short as well as it will cost $500. This company refuses to fix their mistake or refund my money. I have multiple photos and email exchanges to show my concern.
