Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 12, 2015/12/07) */ We apologize for not calling backYes we have been out twice to correct the problemI being the owner had gone out the 3rd time to take a look at what needed to be done to fix the problem permanentlyI did come up with a solution after talking with [redacted] about the situation, however [redacted] mentioned flooding on the side of his house which I did not see how this could happen since the side of his house is on a hillAl had told me that the swale does work but not all of the run off water is going into the swaleI had laid out the fix that is going to take placeI believe that we should have this issue resolved once we make the change

To address the concrete issue. We did contract out the concrete work to [redacted] Brothers concrete. They were paid in full from us. The owner of the concrete company become ill and was not returning our phone calls. We talked to other...

concrete companies about what to do about the crack. We proposed what we were going to do about the situation. Also on top of attempting to fix this situation, we were to come back and finish our grading and seed and straw, also we contracted more money to do sod, tree removal and add a small garden wall. We started on the work and saved the crack situation for the last. During the project I was informed that we would not be paid for the additional work besides the tree removal because the customer wanted the entire patio torn and re-poured. This was a shock to me, because we had agreed on something totally different. This to me is no way to handle business. We stand behind our work, things happen and we try to resolve them as best as possible. In this case it sounds like the customer kept the money that she owed us for the additional work to compensate for the patio.
