*** *** bought her vehicle with a full understanding it was 100% as isShe saw the vehicle posted for sale online and came in to view itWe gave her permission to test drive the vehicle and did not put a time limit on the test driveShe came back just a few minutes later and said "I want
it"She never asked us if she could have it looked at by anyone personally, or if she could take it to a repair shop for an inspection prior to purchaseAgain, she signed an Indiana AS IS buyers guide and signed for as is on her purchase orderShe also did not purchase a warranty thru a third partyHer father did come into the business on the afternoon of 3/27/I explained to him our phones had been down since the evening of 3/26/and we just got them working again around 1pm on 3/27/At this point he got rude and used offensive language towards usWe explained to him it was as is and he should go and check the fluids and battery, etc to see if there is an obvious issue to why it wont startHe made more offensive comments and stormed out the doorI can offer her a few shops locally that will diagnose and fix her vehicle at her cost and we can get her a discount on the repairsThe tow should be covered under her insurance, if she in fact has insured the vehicle as she is required to do so by lawI will attach her purchase order and AS IS buyers guide for the transaction

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2017/10/31) */
We sold the customer and her friend a used vehicle on 2-25-All of our vehicle are sold AS-ISPrior to the sale the customer was given the privilege to test drive the vehicleThey took it to a business of their choosing to have it
inspectedNo issues were reported and we were unaware of any issuesThey did ask for a warrantySince our contracts do not provide a warranty, we chose to use a well-known warranty company to put on a standard power train warrantyAt our expense we gave them a month/mile standard power train warranty covering major engine and transmission issues with a deductible of $
A month ago the customer came in saying the catalytic converter was missing/bypassedWe sent them to get a second opinion/quote which they didAlthough we are not required to help them, the warranty has expired, and the catalytic converter is not covered by warranty, the owner decided to pay half the expenseHe asked them to pay $and drop off the vehicle so we could get it fixedWe are not equipped to handle muffler issues so we take it to a local muffler business to get the work doneThe customer refused to pay or drop off the vehicleWe cannot help them without their cooperation
If the customer digitally recorded (video or audio) the secretary, they did so without her consent or knowledge
Remedy: If the customer pays $and drops off the vehicle, we will take it to a local muffler shop to have the work done

When we purchased rhe truck I took it back to the owner within our warranty about the truck it was missing and the air was blowing heat and the owner stated that his mechanic would work on the truckI dropped the truck off and when I went back to get the truck the issue was still thereThe owner then told his secretary to refund me the that I had paidHis secretary stated that we do not work on the vechiclesWe just buy and sellI would like to take the truck to a muffler shop ogmf my choosing and pay the intial and the owner can pay the restI have no trust that his people will do the job as the owner statedI havr not been able to use the truck in monthsIts not fair to me that the owner wants me to trust them again after the manipulated and deceived me the first timeI am a loyal customer to the owner and for me to have a truck that I cannot drive itms just not fairI want to chose the shop that has no business with Rg and takevit there and pick ot upThat way I know the job is done correct with no deception on there part
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2017/11/08) */

If he is willing to only give then I don't see no reason to provide a reccipt for the work being doneI need to pick up the check to help pay on the truck not afterThis dealer is not being reasonable basically he went from paying majority and having his people fix the problemSince I dont want his people to fix the problem I have to pay to get a from himIf i'm willing to pay for the most he should be able to give me the check to help pay on the problemVersus me paying it allI am getting frustrated because, how can he go from originally paying over half and his people fix itBut, since I dont want his "people" to fix the problem from the precious time and he had refunded me when I had insurance due to his People not fixing the problemAll im asking is he pay up front and I go to a muffler of my choiceI have not driven this truck in months goinf on im the one losingThe truck may have been as Is but the fact that when I took the truck when the problem first started back in marchThe truck was having the same problemThat entire time the owner know that I am a loyal customerNow that the truck aint working I am in the dumpsAll I ask is up front to help pay on the truck getting fixedThat is itHow can he be willing to pay at first an go through his people but, I regject that offer.now he wants me to provide a reciept before he is willing to pay only I hAve a place to take the truck to get fixedI would like to get this over with and get my truck back on the roadI am being very reasonable
