trailer with the understanding that we have no room for a trailer, ever, we were told that when the truck arrived at our shop that there will be another truck arriving to take the trailer on its deliveries in Los Angeles because it still had freight in the trailer. The tow truck showed up as stated, the driver that worked for Mr. [redacted] took the trailer on their deliveries, I informed this driver which was different from the first driver that the trailer can not stay here because we have no room for it. I informed the second driver that I will see if the trailer can be dropped at [redacted] because they have a truck parking lot and they have security and lights, also, [redacted] is just on the other side of the Freeway, the driver said O.K. and that he would probably be back with the empty trailer the next day. [redacted] said that they wouldn’t have a problem with [redacted] trailer being dropped there as long as they have a phone number in case it needed to be moved, [redacted] did not accept any responsibility for the trailer either. [redacted] second driver dropped the trailer at [redacted], not Diesel Power Systems, we do not have a truck that can move a trailer. There are such things as King Pin locks that will lock the trailer out from being towed away, apparently they didn’t use one and must not have theft insurance on their trailer. [redacted]’s truck was at our facility for a long time while Mr. [redacted] acquired funding to pay for his engine repair. I just happened to notice that when I was at [redacted] that I didn’t see [redacted] trailer in the lot, I called Mr. [redacted] immediately and had to leave a voice mail, Mr. [redacted] called me back and asked me to report the trailer stolen but the Sheriff’s department informed me that only the owner can report a vehicle stolen. Although it is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted]’s trailer was stolen, the responsibility does not fall on Diesel Power Systems or [redacted] Casino. [redacted]Diesel Power Systems
Review: TRACTOR BROKE AND WAS TOWED ALONG WITH TRAILER TO THE ABOVE SHOP AT THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER. I WAS NOT INFORMED BY OWNER THAT HE MOVED TRAILER TO ANOTHER LOCATION FOR LACK OF PARKING SPACE ON HIS PROPERTY. ALMOST A MONTH LATER HE CALLED ME TO INFORM ME THAT TRAILER WAS MISSING FROM WHERE HE WAS STORING IT. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME I NEED TO REPORT IT TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY BECAUSE IT WAS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY.Desired Settlement: THE OWNER OF THE ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS TO REPLACE MY PROPERTY THAT HE CAUSED TO BE STOLEN.
