We are in receipt of the complaint dated 08/26/13. We have contacted the customer by phone, and agreed to mail a reimbursement check for the plumber's fee along with the attached letter today 8/28/13. The customer agreed that this was satisfactory to resolve the complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
I was not satisfied with this company.
Although one of the owners came and accessed the site and gave every confidence of resolving the issue completely, there was much to complain about unfortunately.
The contractors dug a French drain around the entire basement, destroyed the paneling, put their "state of the art" material to guide the water into the drain along with thick plastic on the walls - the first rain came and presto, the basement was still leaking.
After all the work done they subsequently discovered that all that was needed was to cover some hole out in the backyard that was causing rain water to seep into the basement!
This company was absolutely convinced that the basement needed a sump pump and now almost a year later, with many horrid rain storms, the sump pump has never been necessary. All of the rains that would even cause Noah to enter the ark has never yielded water to cause the pump to turn on.
What's more, the basement is still leaking. We waited 6 months to put up brand new dry wall in the basement and a month after the dry wall went up and it rained two big storms and both times puddles. Yep, puddles. Did the "state of the art" material channel the water to the sump pump? Nope, but we have brand new dry wall and puddles.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.
