Hello,
I am sorry to here about the bad experience our client encountered with the livery driver remember they are independently owned and operatedDid you ask to speak to a manager or the
owner? I was never informed about this situation, because it was supposed to be under controlThe communication between dispatcher/driver/ and you (not the client) over the phone was clearYou were informed that the client was entitled a refund, and a refund was issuedThe dispatcher states that you were advised what the amount of the refund would be and the driver was immediately suspended (first incident in four years)The driver states he charged as stated on our website *** $plus tolls and tip $50+$plus tip, and the client gave the driver $(the dispatcher states $were refunded in an envelope that was handed to you)You state that the client was charged $Refunding another $shouldn’t be a problem
After reviewing the video recorder at our office I could clearly see that you were upset and screaming, and you were asked to leaveThe dispatchers on duty had nothing to do with the situation they were just doing there jobs and wanted no part of the argumentI understand your frustration but just by asking for a *** or the owner this could have been avoided
By law all car services have to submit a price list to the New York City Taxi and Limousine commission in order to comply with requirements and must follow what is submitted in these price listsAny one that does not abide by the rules can be taken to court (the link is provided below)Please note this could have been handled in a different matter just by asking to speak to a manager or visiting ***
If you need any further information, please do not hesitate in contacting us at any time
Thank you,***
Review: A price was quoted over the for for a trip to the airport. The price was changed and more money was demanded at the destination and the passengers being tourists paid without knowing any better. I called and made a complaint and was treated very poorly over the phone, even hung up on. I was told the driver would refund the money and it would be at the office. When I went to collect the moment there was only a very small amount of money. It was far from a refund and didn't even cover the difference. When I complained that it was incorrect, the treatment I received was disgraceful. Voices were raised and I was told to "go home", and when I informed them I would be reporting them I was verbally insulted further.Desired Settlement: I want the total amount refunded.
