Sales person never showed up. Texted me and said he had a flat tire but would still come by later and email me a quote. He did neither, also did not call to reschedule appointment.
Review: I received a quote via email for stamped concrete patio11/09/15, $11,205 ($6,450 excavation/concrete/grading; $2,205 retaining wall; $1,350 seating wall; $1,200 fire pit: price valid 45 day. I was told during the site visit that work would not start until spring and that price would only fluctuate slightly because of concrete prices. I responded 18 Dec 15 within the 45 days via email requesting time to meet to go over project/look at colored concrete/retaining wall products material. No response. I called, Mr.. Hein's,he informed me he did not receive my email dated 18 Dec 15 at 1:35 PM. I sent him a copy of Nov quote and he responded via email, 19 Jan 16 that price no longer valid and would work up another quote. I sent email requesting explanation of price increases and explanation of why quote no longer valid as my response was within the 45 day period. No response. I received the revised quote via email 20 Jan 16, $16,810 ($11,010, excavation/concrete/grading; $2,900 retaining wall; $1,600 seating wall; $1,300 fire pit. That's a increase of $5.605. I have copies of all correspondence.Desired Settlement: I believe the company did not acknowledge my email of 18 Dec 15 because they wanted the 45 day quote period to expire so they could revise their quote at higher price.

From: Brad [redacted] Deco-Crete, LLC Subject: Case# [redacted] Here is series of events as they happened. Nov 09, 2015 Deco-Crete sent quote to [redacted]. Dec 15, 2015 [redacted] sent email to Kyle [redacted] (DecoCrete Salesperson). This email went to Kyle's spam folder. Kyle did not know this until a phone call received from [redacted] Jan 19, 2016. Jan 19, 2016 [redacted] sent second email to Kyle [redacted] and again email went to spam folder. [redacted] called Deco-Crete which is when Kyle realized that customer's emails were going to a spam folder. Jan 20, 2016 Kyle sent a revised quote and his price calculation had increased for various reasons. At this point quote was over 45 days, 1st of year price increases on materials (mainly retaining wall blocks), labor and some work desired that was not originally quoted or included in original quote. Feb 04, 2016 Deco-Crete has sent revised quote to customer honoring original pricing from Nov 09, 2015 but did included the additional work requested for retaining wall system. Conclusion: I apologize for confusion and we have instituted a plan/ to check spam folders as we have a fairly tight email security system. We are customer oriented and appreciate the customer calling to figure out what had happened to quoting process. Bradley [redacted] Deco-Crete, LLC

I did not receive the subject business's complaint response that was provided to the Revdex.com via the Revdex.com on line complaint system, therefore I would like to respond to the answer I personally received from the subject company, the complaint was resolved. I accepted there modified offer.
