I called the Deb's Casino Getaways this morning, and I spoke to [redacted]. I asked [redacted] about what day casino trips they had the following week. She told me that the group, had one next Tuesday, that is sold out. Then, she told me that have all their trips in their flyer. [redacted], blew me off, and advised me that she could send me a flyer. I informed her, I already have a current flyer. I was upset by her reaction, and not wanting me to give me good customer service, so I told her, I am sorry I bothered you and hung up. The reason, why I called in the first place, is that their flyer is very unorganized. I will not be calling them again!

I found Deb's Casino Get Away experience to be wonderful. I took a 5 day trip to the smoky Mountains and it was well planned, the Host [redacted] did a marvelous job to keep all organized and make the trip fun. Our bus driver [redacted] did a great job and went out of his way to assist one of the passengers get a piece of medical equipment she suddenly needed. The shows we saw were entertaining and the itinerary went smooth. I have also taken their day trip to Hammond to the Horseshoe casino and I would recommend any trips they offer.

Review: I paid for a trip but had to cancel due to unforseen health emergency and I did not receive my refund.

The contract states that the cost of the trip was $110 per person for double occupancy. There was a mandatory requirement of $25 down per person to hold the reservation. So my total payment for this trip was to be $220.

On 7/12/13, I made a payment for $168.00 with check number 1423 and I also rendered a $2.00 coupon, thus leaving a total of $50 to be paid the day of the trip.

On 7/23/13 my friend suffered a health emergency leaving us no choice but to cancel. I attempted to contact Deb’s Tours on 7/23/14 to cancel but there was no answer. On 7/24/13, the day of departure, I called again to let them know of our emergency and to cancel our trip. I was advised that we would not receive our deposit back and my friend needed to call herself to cancel. My friend was in no condition to call them and I booked and paid for the trip, so there should be no need for her to call.

I am aware that the deposit of $25 per person, a total of $50, is non-refundable. I paid a total of $168 and I am still awaiting a refund of $118.00. Please assist me with filing a complaint against Deb’s Casino Getaways Tours LLC and I would like to receive my refund in full for $118.00 to my address.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund in the amount of $118.00 as it states in the contract.
