April 22, 2017First of all, we thank you so very much for following up on this so promptlyWhat is amazing here is that NO transaction was done between us, Mirage Auto Sales, Sacramento and Mr [redacted] AKA [redacted] ***But it’s ok I have the supporting documents attached to this email to show you that we took all the proper steps and we are here to cooperate WE JUST DID NOT WANT TO SELL OUR CAR AT AN INCREADIBLY LOW OFFER MADE BY MR*** PLEASE KINDLY KEEP IN MIND THAT IS OUR RIGHTI put fulltime employees on this for a day and half to look through our archives and find all paperwork for this matter including THE CREDIT APPLICATION FILLED OUT and SIGNED by Mr*** I attached a copy of the signed credit application, a copy of his California Drivers License and a copy of his Auto Insurance card.PLEASE NOTE THAT HE SIGNED A CREDIT APPLICATION ALLOWING US TO RUN HIS CREDIT THAT’S HOW A LOAN PROCESS STARTS AT ANY FINANCIAL INSTITUDE HE PROVIDED US WITH HIS DRIVERS LICENSE AND WE MADE A COPY HE PROVIDED US WITH HIS AUTO INSURANCE AND WE MADE A COPY HE IS AN ADULT AND DID ALL OF THIS WILLINGLY HOW ELSE COULD WE HAVE HAD THIS INFORMATION??? We do have his references that he wrote down for us with his handwriting but I will not share that here We also have his son’s information/signed credit application but for privacy reasons, I am not sharing those here either Plus his son is not the one who complained So with all this explained, and the documents attached please note the following: If you please read the original complaint by Mr [redacted] he does admit that he filled out a credit application, YET IN HIS LAST CORRESPONDENCE HE SAID HE DID NOT SIGN ANYTHING AND WANTED US TO PROVIDE A COPY THAT IS WHY THE COPY IS ATTACHED TO REMIND HIM THAT HE DID SIGN A CREDIT APPLICATION WE DON’T FORCE OUR CUSTOMERS FOR A COPY OF THEIR DRIVERS LICENSE OR AUTO INSURANCE CARD OR REFERENCES WITH FULL NAME, ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER.THESE ARE ALL PROVIDED BY ALL CUSTOMERS WILLINGLY WE AND DEALERSHIPS LIKE US DO THIS PROCESS MANY TIMES DURING A DAY AND HUNDREDS OF TIMES DURING A MONTH OR THE YEAR FOR THAT MATTERAdditionally, from the original complaint one can tell that Mr [redacted] was not comfortable with the process and the way we handled it to begin with, THEN ALL HE HAD TO DO, WAS TO JUST GET UP AND LEAVE WE WOULD NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT IF SOMETHING IS NOT TO YOUR LIKING, WHY DO YOU CONTINUE? This title was lost through the process. We sincerely apologize. We had to apply for a duplicate title. It is all done and taken care of. And the customer does not need to worry at all. To get a duplicate title many steps had to be repeated which were very time
consuming. We only collected $for Ms*** ***'s vehicle registration from her at the time of purchase, BUT BECAUSE OF ALL THE INCONVENIENCE, WE WENT AHEAD AND PAID FOR A FULL YEAR REGISTRATION FOR HER UNTIL APRIL 14, 2018 for $JUST TO SHOW THAT WE ARE HERE TO TAKE CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS. PROOF IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. The registration was mailed to her. It shows on it how much we paid.The new owner for this vehicle on DMV files as of March 7, is Ms*** ***. We again apologize for the inconvenience and we would like for Ms*** to know that none of this was intentional. And finally we offer our sincere apology to her and her family. And we hope we can do a perfect job for her next time if she decides to purchase a vehicle from us. We sell over cars per month and this incident never happens. This matter was settled and finalized in a small claim court for a very small fraction of money that customer asked for.  This was decided by a judge which shows that even the law did not agree to the amount that the customer was asking for.  I would like for you to know that this...
