ON FEBRUARY 21, I PURCHASED PANEL SHUTTERS FOR AN OVER-SIZED SLIDING GLASS DOORTHE SHUTTERS WERE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED WITHIN THEIR PROMISED DATESHORTLY AFTER THE SHUTTER VANES WOULD NOT STAY IN PLACE AND WOULD CLOSE ON THEIR OWN, THEY WOULD NOT STAY IN THE POSITION I PUT THEM IN ON 7-13/I CALLED FOR REPAIR, SHERRY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME WITH WEEKS FOR A DATE WHEN A TRUCK WOULD BE IN MY AREAI RECEIVED A CALL ON 7-22-SAYING THEY WOULD CALL TO SCHEDULE REPAIR WITHIN 1-WEEKSNO ONE CALLED TO SCHEDULE, I CALLED 8-10-15, SAY RESPONSE, SOMEONE WILL CALL, THEY LEFT MESSAGE ON 8-24-SOMEONE WOULD CALL WHEN THEY WOULD BE IN MY AREANO ONE CALLED, I HAVE CALLED REPAIR/SHERRY ON 9-1-15, 9-8-15, AND 9-14-15, NEVER ABLE TO REACH SHERRY, JUST HER VOICE MSG, HAVE LEFT MESSAGESTHE FIRST TIME I CALLED, SHE SAID, "THAT IS AN EASY FIX", WELL, IF ITS SO EASY, WHY DON'T YOU JUST SCHEDULE MY REPAIR! I REALLY JUST WANT THE SHUTTER VANES TO STAY IN POSITIONI CHOSE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE IT SAID "MADE IN AMERICA" !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shutters and Blinds manufactured and installed plantation shutters in my home Of those 12, were installed with DEFECTS (A 5th was not fully painted.) I contacted the company the day of installation requesting they repair/replace the defective shutters Despite their advertised "Lifetime Manufacturer's Defect Warranty" the company will not correct or replace any of the defective shutters they installed in my home I have contacted them repeatedly over the past months and am always told someone will contact me shortly But at my age, it appears I may die before their definition of "shortly" occurs

I am pleased with the service received from Shutters and Blinds I had eight plantation shutters installed today (April 7, 2015) The shutters were ordered on Feb27, (six weeks)

On 2/5/15, I ordered a plantation shutter for one window in my house from Shutters and Blinds (S+B) because they had the lowest price when I called around getting quotes Well, you get what you pay forOn 4/3, the installer came to put in the shutterOne of the shutter doors had wide spaces between the slats and the shutter frameThe installer said he would take it back to be repairedOn 4/9, Justin called and said it would be installed next weekOn 4/15, Justin called again and said it would be installed next weekOn 4/24, I called S+B and left a message asking about the installationOn 4/29, I called S+B and they said Justin called twice on 4/and tried to reach me and that the shutter would be installed next weekHe left no messages on my machineOn 5/6, Justin called and said the shutter would be installed next week and that he would call me on 5/to set up an install appointmentOn 5/19, the shutter door was installedThe initial quality and service was poor

Do NOT do business with this unreliable companyWe ordered blinds weeks ago, and they still have not been installed nor do we have an installation dateOur receipt says that the blinds would be installed in approximately to weeksTen weeks is NOT approximately to weeksWe have been calling every week after the 6th week and get all kinds of excusesFirst, we were referred to the word approximately, then we were told that it must be the color we ordered, then we were told that the blinds were in, then we were told that the blinds were not inNow we are waiting for the installer to call us for an installation dateWho knows how long that will take
Also, we ordered planation shutters when we ordered our blindsAfter two weeks, we got a call saying that this company does not make the kind of shutters we orderedWhy wasn't that known when we ordered the shutters?
Again, do NOT do business with this companyYou will be very disappointedWe wish we had read the Revdex.com alert before we placed our orderMany other customers have had the same problems
